MINI TAKES THE STATES 2016 (MTTS), the eagerly anticipated two-week cross-country rally for MINI owners and enthusiasts, kicked off this weekend in Atlanta, GA. The bi-annual trek will travel track-to-track through America's open roads, stopping in 14 cities over 15 days with thousands of MINIs. Along the way, the group will rally to #DefyHunger with charity partner Feeding America.

Canon 13 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Santa Lucia Highlands, our answer to the mission bell, launch nationwide in July to on-premise retailers.
“The Santa Lucia Highlands are as unique as the people who settled them,” says Canon 13 winemaker Tom Klassen. “Sitting high on a bench overlooking a fertile valley, the vines grow deep in the alluvial soils that cling to the hillsides. Canon 13 is inspired by our geographic birthplace at the Soledad Mission, the 13th mission located along the El Camino Real, the historic 600-mile stretch of road connecting dozens of missions and pueblos beginning in the late 1700s. The steep Santa Lucia Highlands are located along California’s central coast, near the cool waters of Monterey Bay on the flanks of the Santa Lucia Range. The region is graced by warm days, cool nights, rich soil and an evening fog that nurtures the delicate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes.

Abbott announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the company’s Absorb bioresorbable heart stent, making the first-of-its-kind medical device commercially available to treat people with coronary artery disease in the United States.
Absorb is the only fully dissolving stent approved for the treatment of coronary artery disease, which affects 15 million people in the United States and remains a leading cause of death worldwide, despite decades of therapeutic advances. While stents are traditionally made of metal, Abbott’s Absorb stent is made of a naturally dissolving material, similar to dissolving sutures. Absorb disappears completely in approximately three years, after it has done its job of keeping a clogged artery open and promoting healing of the treated artery segment. By contrast, metal stents are permanent implants that restrict vessel motion for the life of the person treated.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (NYSE: RCL) today announced an agreement with Miami-Dade County to construct and operate a dramatic new cruise terminal at PortMiami, on land leased from the County. The new terminal will be a striking addition to PortMiami, and will serve as homeport to Royal Caribbean International ships, including a 5,400-passenger Oasis-class ship, the world’s largest and most innovative cruise ships. The agreement will come before the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners on July 6, 2016.
“We are truly excited to be working with Miami-Dade County and PortMiami to create not just another cruise terminal, but a truly iconic building,” said Richard Fain, chairman and CEO for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. “This new terminal is a symbol of our commitment to Miami, the city where our company first started almost 50 years ago.
