Orlando’s future leaders are honored at Aio’s 30 Days, 30 Dreams Ceremony.
College will be a little bit easier for 90 students in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Dallas thanks to a $1,000 college scholarship and tablet from Aio Wireless.
It’s all part of Aio’s “30 Days, 30 Dreams,” a program designed to lock arms with local nonprofit organizations creating opportunities for future leaders in the communities it serves. After launching the program in Houston and Orlando earlier this year, Aio is expanding the program to Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Dallas.

One creative kid’s unique sandwich recipe could help put them on the road to college. Now through November 8, 2013, the makers of Jif® Peanut Butter invite families to ignite their culinary creativity in the kitchen and create an original sandwich recipe for the 12th Annual Jif Most Creative Sandwich Contest™. Parents of children between ages 6 and 12 are able to submit their child’s original recipe for a chance to win a $25,000 college fund and a trip to New York City.

To help feed the demand for food preparers trained in international cuisine, Centennial College has opened its newly renovated Culinary Arts Centre at the Progress Campus.
Fifteen internships in four years sounds like a pretty demanding exercise. Yet Lauren Berger did just that while at the University of Central Florida, and learned how to be a leader and a successful entrepreneur in the process. And now Berger, founder of Intern Queen Inc., is offering students a similar opportunity through the 2013 Ford College Ambassador Challenge.
