This July 4th, America’s national Independence Day celebration kicks off our country’s 240th birthday, as A CAPITOL FOURTH on PBS welcomes back Emmy Award-winning television personality Tom Bergeron (DANCING WITH THE STARS) to host the festivities. Broadcast live on PBS from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, the all-star musical extravaganza puts viewers front and center for the greatest display of fireworks anywhere in the nation. A CAPITOL FOURTH will feature performances by: legendary Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Smokey Robinson; platinum selling recording star and Grammy Award-winner Kenny Loggins; multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw; Award-winning country vocalist Cassadee Pope; actress and singer Amber Riley (GLEE), who is set to star in DREAMGIRLS THE MUSICAL on London’s West End; musical prodigy and classical crossover star Jackie Evancho; Tony Award-winning Broadway and television star Sutton Foster (YOUNGER, GILMORE GIRLS); Grammy Award-winning gospel/adult contemporary superstar Yolanda Adams; and the cast of the smash hit Broadway musical ON YOUR FEET! the inspiring true story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan; with the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of top pops conductor Jack Everly. Walt Disney Records is set to release a new hologram vinyl version of the original motion picture soundtrack for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. With score conducted and composed by five-time Academy Award®-winning composer John Williams and liner notes by the film’s director, J.J. Abrams, the double LP features a 16-page booklet on 180 gram vinyl. This one-of-a-kind vinyl set, hand etched by Tristan Duke (Jack White’s Lazaretto) of Infinity Light Science, offers a 3D hologram experience featuring the Millennium Falcon on Disc 1/Side B and a TIE Fighter on Disc 2/Side B. Nespresso has revealed a humorous behind-the-scenes video showing new leading man Jack Black receiving guidance from the ever smooth George Clooney as they filmed the latest TV commercial entitled Epiphany.
The advert explores the concept of ‘What Else?’, provoking viewers to consider the unique Nespresso qualities that are incomparable. ‘What Else?’ encapsulates all of the elements that create the ultimate coffee experience - everything from the unique approach to sustainable coffee, unparalleled coffee quality through to the unsurpassed coffee expertise, stylish boutiques, innovative services and more.
Filmed in Lake Como, Italy, the advert shows George Clooney pouring himself a cup of Nespresso coffee. Just as the coffee is ready, it is taken by Jack Black who attempts to win a female’s affections by trying to use George’s infamous ‘What Else?’ phrase. Oblivious, Jack gets the phrase wrong and George steps in to educate him. Later, Jack experiences a moment of epiphany as the meaning of ‘What Else?’ dawns on him.
George Clooney commented on set: “What can I say about Jack, it was a tall order but he did quite the job - after a bit of coaching of course. All joking aside, it was such a fun shoot and Jack was a pleasure to work with.”

With the July Fourth holiday fast approaching, Brookdale Senior Living and the nonprofit organization Wish of a Lifetime™ are celebrating patriotism by sharing the stories of four high-flying World War II veterans whose Wishes of taking to the skies again were fulfilled by the organizations. Granting these Wishes was a way to honor the service of these American heroes and to demonstrate that there is no age limit for taking new adventures. Since Brookdale and Wish of a Lifetime™ started their partnership in 2010, more than 80 of their Wishes have commemorated the service of Brookdale veterans across the country.
