In an appliance industry first, LG Electronics transformed its LG InstaView™ refrigerators into musical instruments as part of a series of surprise musical performances for thousands of consumers at Westfield World Trade Center in the Oculus – one of the nation’s busiest transit and shopping destinations. The performance kicked off with two knocks on the LG InstaView refrigerator’s unique glass panel, which triggered musical renditions of pop songs featuring choreographed routines from performers dressed as everyday passersby, entertaining commuters and shoppers.
Highlighting LG InstaView technology – a one-of-a-kind innovation that allows users to knock twice to illuminate the refrigerator’s glass panel and see inside without opening the door – the experience featured renditions of today’s chart-topping songs by Andrew Huang, a music producer known for creating rhythmic beats with non-traditional instruments, now including LG home appliance innovations.

The Tory Burch Foundation today announced the launch of a global campaign, #EmbraceAmbition, to encourage women to embrace ambition. The initiative kicks off today to coincide with International Women’s Day. Inspired by Tory’s personal experience as a woman and entrepreneur, the campaign aims to address the double standard that exists around ambition, which is often seen as a great attribute in men and as a negative one in women.

MINI TAKES THE STATES 2016 (MTTS), the eagerly anticipated two-week cross-country rally for MINI owners and enthusiasts, kicked off this weekend in Atlanta, GA. The bi-annual trek will travel track-to-track through America's open roads, stopping in 14 cities over 15 days with thousands of MINIs. In just five hours overnight on October 18, Times Square was transformed from a concrete jungle into a woodland paradise by LightStream, the national online lending division of SunTrust Bank. Nearly 200 live trees, shrubs and plants -- oak, maple, and purple plum trees, as well as rhododendron, mountain laurels and more – provided a magical setting for thousands of visitors to enjoy and have their photo taken and shared on a Times Square billboard. The Forest of Dreams event kicked off LightStream’s effort to plant 10,000 trees in October, one for each person who participated in Times Square or who signs up at LightStreamForests.com before November 1.
The Forest of Dreams will benefit wilderness areas and green spaces across the U.S., including areas decimated by wildfires and hurricanes in Houston, Miami and California.

The American Dental Association (ADA) kicks off its 12th national Give Kids A Smile® program Friday, Feb. 7. Dental professionals from across the nation are mobilizing to provide free oral health services to children and adolescents from underserved families throughout this year. As of this date, approximately 350,000 are registered, with more expected to register throughout the year.
Give Kids A Smile has become the world's largest oral health charitable program and an ADA access-to-care endeavor designed to encourage parents, health professionals and policymakers to address the year-round need for oral health care for all children.
