WTF or WHAT THE FLUSH! The makers of the Stealth® ultra-high efficiency toilet and Bravo’s “Flipping Out” Star Jenni Pulos want to see more people saving both water and precious dollars when they flush.
On average, 27 percent of water consumption in the home comes from flushing it right down the toilet, which is completely avoidable – that’s not even mentioning the water lost by old or deteriorated flappers that leak. Cotton Incorporated and Cotton Council International (CCI) conducted a global survey of attitudes, motivations, and behaviors regarding sustainability among 7,300 consumers in the U.S., U.K., Mexico, India, Italy, and China. Questions explored how consumers define sustainability, what actions they take to improve the environment, when and how sustainability affects their purchases, and why they are motivated to act in sustainable ways. This research reveals the ways in which environmental concerns are important to consumer decision-making.
