This barometer Promise Consulting / BNP Exane classifies the 15 most exclusive and desirable brands in China in the universe of feminine Fashion. This Barometer is conducted amongst the wealthiest Chinese women, and is about the 30 luxury brands in ready-to-wear/handbags/shoes/accessories that have invested the most in communication (source: Industry Interviews, Exane Paribas). Volvo Cars, the premium carmaker, is inventing a new model of car access with the launch of the new Volvo XC40 and the new ‘Care by Volvo’ subscription service. This will make having a car as transparent, easy and hassle free as having a phone: a national, ready-negotiated monthly fee, combined with getting a new car every 24 months.
After ordering online, Care by Volvo customers will be able to drive away in a new Volvo without having to worry about the traditional extras such as down payments, insurances, taxes, service fees and geographical or customer age related differences.
Furthermore, Care by Volvo will, depending on regional availability, offer a range of digital concierge services, such as fuelling, cleaning, service pick-up and e-commerce delivery to the car.

The Hertz Corporation (NYSE: HTZ) announces the company’s new protocol for rental car maintenance and cleanliness, Hertz Certified Clean & Safe, which is being rolled out to all Hertz airport and suburban locations in the U.S. For the first time, the company is sharing with customers each step taken, which includes a 35 point checklist, to prepare every car and verify the vehicle is certified clean and safe before it’s rented. Once the vehicle is certified, a card signed by the representative preparing it for rental is placed on the vehicle’s steering column to reassure the customer it has been certified clean and safe.

Porsche Cars North America today officially opened its new $100 million Porsche Experience Center (PEC) and headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. The 27-acre complex located at the Northeast corner of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the largest investment outside Germany for the sports car manufacturer. The industry-first facility is complete with a driver development track, classic car gallery, restoration center, human performance center and driving simulator lab. A state-of-the-art business center features 13,000 square feet of conference and event space and a fine dining restaurant. The experience center has been specifically designed as a destination for the public, including automotive enthusiasts and Porsche customers.
