Let me ask you... Have you ever felt unworthy, ugly, ashamed, dirty, imperfect, even hopeless? Most of us have, and we then try to go through life, putting on a happy face as best we can, but feeling so inadequate inside. Fact: Research shows that between 77% and 90% of women think that they're ugly. Fact: The majority of men doubt themselves and live with fear and insecurity. Fact: 97% of Americans FAIL to achieve their life goals (& it's probably the same in Australia and at least the rest of the western world) Beautiful is a song that brings hope and declares the truth of God's word that basically says you're beautiful and the with God on your side, it's impossible to fail... not a bad promise to keep in mind. As a good friend of mine says, God bankrupted heaven so that he could have you as His friend. You are the pearl of great price and he sold all he had, gave His only Son, so that he could buy you. May God bless you as you listen and may he lift you to a point that you realise that it is God himself who sees you as beautiful, proclaiming you perfect through the blood of Jesus, his Son. This fall, two members of America’s favorite reality TV family — the Robertsons — have teamed up with Hallmark to help remind people in their own unique ways that the best way to leave a lasting impression on a loved one’s birthday is with a greeting card. Jase and Si Robertson are featured in four online videos produced by Hallmark, in which they use their own unique style of humor to depict what not to do on a loved one’s birthday…in other words, the birthday “fail.”

Modern semitrailers for the most part do a good job of keeping passenger vehicles from sliding underneath them, greatly increasing the chances of surviving a crash into the back of a large truck, recent tests by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) show. But in crashes involving only a small portion of the truck’s rear, most trailers fail to prevent potentially deadly underride.
Earlier research showed that the minimum strength and dimensions required for underride guards are inadequate, prompting the Institute to petition the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in 2011 for tougher standards. The Institute also asked the agency to consider applying the standards to other types of large trucks, such as dump trucks that aren’t required to have any underride guards.
Diabetes experts met and determined that some self-monitoring blood glucose (SMBG) systems, despite meeting accuracy standards at the time of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance, fail to consistently meet accuracy standards once on the market, potentially putting patient health at risk. In a public meeting convened by the Diabetes Technology Society on May 21, 2013, in Arlington, Virginia, leading academic clinicians, clinical chemists, medical device experts, patient advocates and FDA representatives reviewed a growing body of peer-reviewed research demonstrating that the performance of some blood glucose monitors on the market may not be meeting accuracy standards.

Only 3 vehicles of more than 100 evaluated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety have child restraint installation hardware that earns a good rating for ease of use, while more than half have hardware that is poor or marginal.
The Institute's new LATCH ratings will serve as a resource for families looking for a vehicle that makes it easy to transport their children safely. They also are intended to encourage vehicle manufacturers to pay attention to this equipment and make improvements. Properly installed, age-appropriate child restraints provide considerably more protection for children in crashes than safety belts alone. However, observational studies have found that parents and caregivers often fail to secure them tightly or make other installation mistakes.
LATCH, which stands for Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children, is intended to make it easier to install a child seat properly. It works: Child restraints installed with LATCH, rather than with vehicle safety belts, are more likely to be installed correctly, research has shown. But in many vehicles, LATCH hardware could be better. Parents are more likely to install the seat correctly when the LATCH hardware meets certain key ease-of-use criteria.
