Svetlana Medvedeva, Princess Maxima Opens Keukenhof International Flower Exhibition.
Accompanied by HRH Princess Maxima der Nederlanden, Mrs Svetlana Medvedeva, spouse of the president of the Russian Federation, has officially opened the 61st edition of Keukenhof international flower exhibition in Lisse, The Netherlands. She was especially invited because this year's central theme is 'From Russia with love'. The opening ceremony was the baptizing of a newly bred tulip. Keukenhof 2010 is open for the public until May 16th.

Merry Christmas! Each year our yard display becomes bigger and bigger. We made the front page of the newspaper last year and were highlighted on the television web sites. Last year over 1028 children visited with Santa and Mrs. Clause and everyone received candy canes. In the period from 22 March to 20 May 2012, a colourful tribute will be paid to Poland, an important export market for flowering bulbs. Poland-Heart of Europe is the theme for Keukenhof 2012. Highlights this year are the exhibition Surprising Poland, the flowering bulb mosaic of Frederic Chopin and a special theme route.

In the impressive conference center of the Milad Tower rising over Tehran’s roofs the 16th Energy Globe World Awards have been handed over in an international gala. Vice President Mrs. Masoumeh Ebtekar referred in her speech to the importance of such awards for outstanding environmental projects and their implementation.
