Olives are a fundamental element of the gastronomy of all Mediterranean countries. Thanks to olives’ great taste and versatility, they can also be part of other traditional dishes, such as ceviches, baos or makis.
The European Union and Interaceituna teach us to introduce all the flavor, aroma and color that table olives can bring to these cuisines. This can be seen as a new type of gastronomic fusion straight from the world leaders of production and quality, which becomes a differentiating element that allows North American foodies to prepare dishes from Japan, South America or China, with a marked Mediterranean twist.

Bizler Türkiyeli ateistler olarak dinlerin, insanların geçmiş zamanlardaki doğayı anlama ve anlamlandırma çabası olduğunu ve herhangi bir objektif kanıta dayanmayan bu doğaüstü iddialara şartlanmışlığın aşılması gerektiğini düşünüyoruz.
Dinlere ve diğer doğaüstü kavramlara inanmasak da bizler her bireyin inanç özgürlüğüne saygı duyuyoruz. İnanç özgürlüğüne saygı duymamız onları dinlerinin/inançlarının gereklerinden alıkoyma gibi anti demokratik eylemleri kınadığımız ve bundan kaçındığımız anlamına geliyor. Ancak inanç özgürlüğüne saygı duymak, inançlara koşulsuz saygı göstermek demek değildir. Bu ikisi çoğu kez inançlı insanlar tarafından karıştırılmakta ve "herkesin dinlere saygı duyma şartı" gibi ifade özgürlüğünü engelleyici yöntemlere başvurulmasına sebep olmaktadır.
Dinler birer felsefi düşüncedir ve bizler hiçbir düşünceye koşulsuz saygının dayatılmaması gerektiğine inanıyoruz. Bir başka deyişle dinlerin de diğer düşünceler gibi normale indirgenip tartışılması, sorgulanması gerektiğini düşünüyoruz. Bizler söylemlerimizle insanları değil, düşünceleri hedef alıyoruz çünkü düşüncelerin değil, insanların haklara sahip olduğuna inanıyoruz. Dolayısıyla hiç kimsenin "dini inancıma hakaret edildi, mağdurum" deme hakkının olmadığını düşünüyoruz. Eğer inandığınız şeylerin eleştirilmesinden ve doğru kabul ettiklerinizin sarsılmasından endişe ediyorsanız, ateist içerikli yazı ve medya unsurlarını takip etmeyiniz. Buna herkesin gücü yetmektedir, kimse kimseye zorla bir şey izletmiyor.

Die Abgasuntersuchung (AU) ist in ihrer aktuellen Form nicht geeignet, um Fehler in der Abgasreinigung verlässlich aufzudecken und unnötige und vermeidbare Luftverschmutzung zu verhindern. Zu diesem Ergebnis kommt die Deutsche Umwelthilfe e.V. (DUH) nach eigenen Messungen und forderte deshalb heute auf einer Presse-Konferenz in Berlin angesichts der aktuellen Revision der EU-Verordnung zur AU eine rasche Anpassung der Abgasuntersuchung. Die Umwelt- und Verbraucherschutzorganisation hatte mehrere Dieselfahrzeuge prüfen lassen, die vorher die AU durchlaufen hatten. Das nicht akzeptable Ergebnis: Die Hälfte der Autos erhielt die Prüfplakette nach geltenden Kriterien, obwohl ihre Emissionen nachweislich stark erhöht waren.

Discovery en Español welcomes the new year with adrenaline-filled premieres on its popular programming block ‘Jueves de Aventura,’ highlighting the original production DESAFÍO X 2: MÉXICO, where two survival experts from Colombia and México, will test their skills in inhospitable territories of Chiapas, Veracruz and Puebla. Each of the six episodes will feature Colombian adventurer Daniel Tirado and Mexican army veteran Alberto Pegueros surviving in extremely remote wild Aztec lands and putting their skills and knowledge into practice in order to make their way back to civilization safe and sound. Together, they have to avoid danger, predators, and find food, water and shelter. However, conflicts are not only limited to wilderness, and each man’s survival skills might not always match those of his partner, so combining techniques and living together could become the greatest of challenges for both men.

Volkswagen lädt das Modellspektrum mit einem neuen extrem effizienten Elektrofahrzeug auf: dem neuen e-up!. Das Elektroauto debütiert auf der Internationalen Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) in Frankfurt und steht bereits ab Oktober bei den VW-Händlern. Der Grundpreis einschließlich Batterie beträgt 26.900 Euro. Die Wolfsburger hoffen, dass ihr erster Stromer vielleicht nicht auf Anhieb, aber doch nach weiteren Verbesserrungen in der Lade-Infrastruktur zum ersten „Volks-Elektroauto“ wird. Mit dem e-up! startet ein Elektrofahrzeug der neuesten Generation, das dank innovativer Detaillösungen besonders sparsam mit der eingesetzten Energie umgeht. So verbraucht der e-up! lediglich 11,7 kWh/100 km. Bei einem durchschnittlichen Strompreis von 25,8 Cent (Deutschland, 2013) kosten 100 Kilometer Fahrt nur noch 3,02 Euro. Die wegweisende Effizienz des e-up! ist auf den für ein Auto dieser Größe sehr guten cw-Wert von 0,308, einen optimierten Rollwiderstand, die generell sparsamen Antriebskomponenten, das hochwirksame Rekuperationssystem und innovative Ausstattungsmodule wie eine besonders sparsam arbeitende Klimaautomatik zurückzuführen.
