The 20V MAX* Lithium Ion Brushless Drill/Driver (PCCK607LB) boasts more runtime as well as 20% more power and improved bit retention compared to the prior model (PCC601). Its efficient brushless motor, high-speed transmission, and 1.5Ah battery deliver up to 370 Max Watts Out (MWO) to maximize drilling and fastening speeds. A two-speed gear transmission delivers 0-450 Rotations Per Minute (RPM) in low speed for high-torque applications and 0-1,800 RPM in high speed for maximum fastening speed. McDonald’s USA announced today it will televise its annual 365Black Awards ceremony for the first time on national cable television network Black Entertainment Television® (BET®). Hosted by award-winning actress Taraji P. Henson, the program will air at 11 p.m. Eastern/10 p.m. Central Sunday, August 25. McDonald’s 365Black Awards will feature an all-star lineup of celebrity performers and presenters. Comedian Jonathan Slocumb will open the broadcast that will feature show-stopping performances by recording artists Erica Campbell, Estelle, Angie Stone, Jordin Sparks and Yolanda Adams. Actors Jay Ellis and Omari Hardwick, singer/actress Brandy and singer/songwriter LeToya Luckett, will be among celebrities who will present the awards to this year’s honorees.

Texas Instruments (TI) (NASDAQ: TXN) today introduced the first all-in-one USB Type-C and USB Power Delivery (PD) controller, which integrates a port power switch and port data multiplexer. The TPS65982 USB PD controller is the only integrated circuit (IC) available that provides the full power path, operating as a Single- or Dual-Role Port and enabling a variety of host and device power implementations.
For applications requiring higher data rates, the TPS65982 can be combined with the 5.4-Gbps HD3SS460, the industry’s first USB Type-C cross-point switch. This solution enables USB connectors on either end of the cable to be flipped up or down, delivers power up to 100 W, and supports Alternate Modes to distribute video over DisplayPort from the host to the end device.
