The 5th annual Vivid Sydney (24 May – 10 June) was officially opened tonight with Sydney’s iconic Opera House illuminated in a stunning 3D-mapped visual feast of colour, movement, and world-class lighting artistry by Australian creative innovators The Spinifex Group.
The largest light, music and ideas festival in the Southern Hemisphere, Vivid Sydney features lighting installations around the Sydney harbour foreshore, live music performances, and over 120 creative industry events.

Vivid Sydney (23 May – 9 June) was officially opened tonight by the NSW Premier Mike Baird, as the Sails of iconic Sydney Opera House came alive with world–exclusive, stunning 3D–mapped projections, and the Harbour City was filled with colour and light.
Vivid Sydney, the largest light, music and ideas festival in the Southern Hemisphere, and Australia’s Event of the Year, features a huge, free nightly light show of lighting installations, building projections and water theatre around Sydney harbour from 6pm until midnight, as well as live music performances and over 200 creative industry events.

Vivid Sydney (25 May - 11 June), now in its fourth year, was officially opened tonight with 'Lighting the Sails' of Sydney's iconic Opera House, unveiling a celebration of 3D colour projections and digital artistry by multi-award winning German design team, URBANSCREEN.
The largest festival of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, Vivid Sydney features light art installations around the harbour foreshore, live music performances at the Sydney Opera House and over 100 creative industry events in the Vivid Ideas program.

leading composer at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Computer Music Research at Plymouth University , and Dr Greg B Davies, Head of Behavioural and Quantitative Finance at Barclays, have taken reality performances to another level by partnering with Barclays to produce a reality opera. The performance, which was held on the 15th November 2012 at Egyptian Hall, Mansion House, focused on the drama unfolding on an “open outcry” stock trading floor, the type of trading floor on which traditionally traders shout and use hand-signals.
