WebMD Health Corp. Nearly 90 percent of children and adults with a highly aggressive form of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) showed no evidence of cancer after receiving a novel, personalized cell therapy that reprograms a patient’s immune system. In pilot studies of bioengineered T cells that attack leukemia, 24 of 27 patients (89%) experienced complete responses within 28 days after treatment. In all, 27 patients received the treatment--22 children treated at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and five adults treated at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Santa isn’t just sliding down the chimney this year! To bridge the gap between Easter and Christmas, 20 PEEPS® Santas hopped through New York City spreading cheer and sweetness. The journey of the Santas culminated with a choreographed dance to the tune of the “Bunny Hop” and the distribution of samples of candy-cane-inspired PEEPS® Candy Cane marshmallow treats.
The hopping Santas began at Rockefeller Plaza and hopped about the city, stopping at Times Square, and outside Radio City Music Hall, finally gathering for a special event that had spectators jumping with joy.
