On Wednesday, Absolut will officially unveil its latest Art Bar installation, known as “Night Court,” produced in collaboration with artist Ry Rocklen. A center of nightlife and entertainment for attendees of Art Basel in Miami Beach, Night Court is the most recent and most extensive manifestation of Rocklen’s “Trophy Modern” collection, and features furnishings including a bar, bleachers, ping pong and chess table made from Rocklen’s signature trophy parts, all set atop a life-sized basketball court at Oceanfront, Miami Beach.

Using some of the more than 2,000 individual parts of a completely dismantled Lexus CT hybrid, a vehicle that is 90 percent recyclable*, the designers created fashionable works of art as part of The Lexus Fashion Workshop.

The Odyssey of Pioneers, the first world tour of an electric roadster, ended in Paris, at the LVMH Headquarters, with a cortege of artists and celebrities who came together for the occasion. Amongst them, Leonardo DiCaprio, who launched the tour six months ago in Basel, HRH Prince Albert II of Monaco and Bernard Arnault, President of the LVMH Group, all committed to the same sustainable development goal. The CCCL Austellungsmannschaft (Luzern's chef's guild competition cooking team) led by Chef Leonard recently completed their 4th team test cook in preparation for the IGEHO exhibition in Basel in November, only 1 more test cook remains in order to correct the dishes so that finished items look perfect. To assist the team in their cause to achieve this perfection 2 of the Swiss Cooking associations top judges (Franz Jonke and Werner Schumacher) were invited to critique the dishes which will be on display on the 25th November, their expertise and assistance will allow the team progress to the next level and hopefully aid our cause to achieve some medal status at the competition itself.
