The iconic jingle, introduced to the world 31 years ago and awarded the number-one song “Most Likely to Get Stuck in Your Head” by Ad Age in 2004, has been turned upside down to let people know that ‘Chili’s Is Back, Baby’ and focused on one thing only – quality burgers, ribs and fajitas.

More than 40 U.S. states have some potential for earthquakes. To increase earthquake preparedness, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) encourages all Americans to participate in the Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill happening on Thursday, October 15, at 10:15 a.m. local time.
“Residents in California aren't the only ones threatened by the potential of a catastrophic earthquake,” said FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate. “From the Cascadia subduction zone in the Pacific Northwest to the New Madrid seismic zone in the South and Midwest, millions of Americans live and travel to areas that can be impacted by a major earthquake. All of us - regardless of where we live - should be prepared by knowing what to do: drop, cover, and hold on.”

Safe Horizon, the nation’s largest victim services agency, has opened a new Child Advocacy Center (CAC) in the Bronx, with significant support from the de Blasio Administration. This center will be staffed by experts from Safe Horizon, the Administration for Children’s Services, the New York Police Department, the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, the New York City Law Department and Montefiore Medical Center. Together, this team of experts will investigate and respond to the most serious cases of sexual and severe physical child abuse in the Bronx.

Friday night’s Vegas Strong Benefit Concert at T-Mobile Arena united the Las Vegas entertainment industry and close-knit community for an evening of live performances and heartfelt video tributes honoring victims and survivors of the October 1 tragedy.
More than a dozen A-list entertainers and homegrown talent convened to benefit the Las Vegas Victims Fund in front of a capacity crowd of 12,000.. This year, Beneful dog food is celebrating the fifth year of its Dream Dog Park program by supporting dog park projects across the U.S. ranging in size from Chihuahua to Great Dane proportions. Kicking off in June and throughout 2015, the Beneful team is supporting crowdfunding campaigns and working with community leaders and fundraising groups to help bring new dog parks to life or improve existing ones through a combination of financial support, hands-on volunteerism and shared dog park expertise.

On January 12, 2010, a devastating earthquake hit Haiti, killing more than 230,000 people and displacing approximately 1.5 million. Children were orphaned; families were left homeless; and homes, schools and hospitals destroyed. Five years later, SOS Children’s Villages, the world’s largest organization providing care for orphaned and abandoned children, remains unwavering in its ongoing, long-term commitment to the people of Haiti.
“Efforts to rebuild the most affected areas move at a slow place, and the need to support vulnerable children and families remains high.
