What is ClipMoon?
ClipMoon is an online video sharing service that allows anyone to view
and share videos that have been uploaded by our members.
How do I join and is it free?
To become a member of ClipMoon, go to the "Signup"
page, choose a user name and password, and enter your information. Then
click the "Sign Up" button and you're done. It is absolutely
free,
but any kinds of donation are welcome.
How do I confirm my email address?
Confirming your email address is required to perform many actions on
ClipMoon, such as uploading videos and posting comments.
After your Signup, check your email for a message from ClipMoon and
click the link in the email to complete the confirmation process.
If you don't receive the confirmation email within a few minutes, be
sure to check your spam folder to make sure it wasn't misfiled.

Watching, Uploading and Sharing Videos
Can I watch videos without being a member of ClipMoon?
Yes you can. You can watch all the public videos, but you won't be able
to comment videos, upload videos, watch adult videos or create groups, so
come on and REGISTER!
Why does the video slow down or stop during playback?
Depending upon your Internet connection, some videos may take longer to
load. Wait for your video to load fully (as represented by the grey
progress bar within the video control slider) before playing it.
How can I upload my videos?
First, you have to create an account to
upload a video.
Once logged in, select the "Upload" link on the top navigation bar.
Enter the Title, Description and Tags of your video, select one up to
three Video Categories and click "Continue". You now have to browse for
the video you want to upload on your harddrive. Once selected, click
"Upload Video".
The time it takes to upload your video will depend on your connection
speed and the size of the video chosen.Once
completed, you will see a confirmation message.
Do you have any video restrictions?
Yes, the max. file size is 100 MB and the max. video length is 10 minutes. Copyrighted , obscene
and other material which violate our Terms of Use, is
not allowed and will be deleted
without further notice.
How long are my videos available on ClipMoon?
Your videos stay on ClipMoon until you choose to delete them. Videos which violate the
Terms of Use may be deleted by ClipMoon.
What video file formats can I upload?
ClipMoon accepts video files from most digital cameras, camcorders, and
cell phones in the AVI, WMV, MPEG4, DIVX, XVID, MPG, MPEG, RM, DAT, FLV,
MOV, QuickTime, ASF, MP4 and many more formats. (Some special
codecs may not be supported.)
What does "Invalid file format" mean?
"Invalid file format" means that your video is in a format that our system doesn't accept. We accept most file formats,
please see above. If your video meets these minimum requirements and still won't upload, it may be due to a problem with the video compression you are using. We recommend the MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 320x240 resolution with MP3 audio.
How long will my video take to upload?
Depending on your
connection speed and the size of the video, it can take anywhere from a
few minutes to several hours to upload a video. Generally, if you have a
high-speed Internet connection you can expect the upload to take
somewhere between 1-5 minutes for every 1MB. However, the experience is
different for every user because of the variation in connection speeds.
Once completed, you will see a confirmation message.
