Mexican-American singer-songwriter Becky G and Puerto Rican singer-songwriter and musician Raquel Sofia are taking you for a ride at two of the summer’s biggest music festivals – Lollapalooza and Outside Lands.
Powered by the Toyota Corolla, these artists will share their journey through real-time social media content. The series, “Musica y Destinos con Toyota,” kicked-off on Friday, July 31 with Becky G (@iambeckyg) sharing her musical experience at Lollapalooza at Grant Park in Chicago. The iconic festival featured a diverse range of musical acts, including Paul McCartney, Sam Smith and Metallica.
During the three-day event, Becky G met with Gogol Bordello, a Gypsy-punk band known for their authentic energy and theatrical stage shows. Highlights from the meet and greet were shared via Facebook @ToyotaLatino and @BeckyG, and Twitter @iambeckyg. The artist also captured short videos of her adventure through her story on Snapchat, available to followers.
And the musical ride continues this weekend when Sofia joins Toyota for the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco, Aug. 7-9. The three-day festival features performances by Billy Idol, Kendrick Lamar, Mumford & Sons, Axwell & Ingrosso, Twin Peaks and Clasixx, to name a few.

TOURNEAU, the world's leading retailer of luxury timepieces for more than a century, will spring time forward this weekend in accordance with Daylight Saving Time, which takes place at 2 a.m., Sunday, March 9. With Memorial Day Weekend and the unofficial start of the summer driving season fast approaching, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company surprised unsuspecting motorists here today. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Kevin Harvick, along with his pit crew, appeared at Concord Mills Mall and performed free tread depth checks on consumers’ tires.
With National Tire Safety Week set for May 29 through June 4, Harvick and Goodyear collaborated to raise awareness on the importance of proper tire maintenance. As always, consumers can head to any of Goodyear’s Tire & Service Network locations to receive free tire checks.

The gastronomic gathering that is the Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (NYCWFF) returns to the Big Apple for its 11th edition October 11 – 14 with more than 75 events taking place across New York. The iconic Caesars Palace celebrated Independence Day Weekend by paying homage to its colorful history of hosting amazing daredevil stunts with a night jump by the Red Bull Air Force skydiving team in front of the famed resort on Sunday, June 3, followed by a colossal 13 ½ minute fireworks extravaganza.
The festive party began just before sundown with live entertainment on the iconic front fountains. Winner of “American Idol” season five, Taylor Hicks, got the patriotic party started with his popular song, “Seven Mile Breakdown,” followed by “Nineteen”. The roster of live entertainment also included cast members from ABSINTHE and the TSA Color Guard.
Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children from ages 1 to 19 in the U.S. Yet, childhood cancer research and services are vastly and consistently underfunded. This weekend, Northwestern Mutual financial professionals and employees will support the fight against childhood cancer through its nonprofit partner, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), by holding nearly 200 lemonade stands as part of the Foundation’s national fundraising initiative, Alex’s Lemonade Days (June 12-14).
Founded by Alex Scott (1996-2004) in 2004, Alex’s Lemonade Days is a three-day national event that grew out of Alex’s front yard lemonade stand. During Alex’s Lemonade Days, dedicated volunteers host thousands of Alex’s Lemonade Stands across the country, raising more than $1 million for childhood cancer research. June 2015 will mark the 12th Annual Lemonade Days, and will continue Alex’s mission to raise money one cup of lemonade at a time, renewing her idea that any contributor, at any age, can make a difference.

MINI TAKES THE STATES 2016 (MTTS), the eagerly anticipated two-week cross-country rally for MINI owners and enthusiasts, kicked off this weekend in Atlanta, GA. The bi-annual trek will travel track-to-track through America's open roads, stopping in 14 cities over 15 days with thousands of MINIs. Along the way, the group will rally to #DefyHunger with charity partner Feeding America.

Last weekend, OUE hosted the official grand opening of OUE Skyspace LA. Guests flocked from near and far to be among the first to experience the public debut of California’s tallest open-air observation deck and Skyslide with a slew of celebratory events throughout the weekend.
On Friday, June 24, the ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted local and international VIPs as OUE Skyspace LA opened its doors for the very first time. Speakers included Dr. Stephen Riady, Executive Chairman of OUE and Raymond Chan, Interim Deputy Mayor for Economic Development. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, an evening of special performances from artists such as Brian McKnight, and more wowed OUE’s guests of honor.
