The Gibraltarian Project was officially "switched-on" by the Chief Minister of Gibraltar, Hon. Fabian R Picardo and by the Minister of Health, Environment and Climate Change, Hon. Dr. John Cortes. Gibraltar Electric Authority (Gibraltar's National Electric Company) is the purchaser of the entire Project's power.
The Project is the first grid connected Eco Wave Power plant and the only wave power plant anywhere in Europe, operating multiple wave units, under Commercial PPA terms.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (NYSE: RCL) today announced an agreement with Miami-Dade County to construct and operate a dramatic new cruise terminal at PortMiami, on land leased from the County. The new terminal will be a striking addition to PortMiami, and will serve as homeport to Royal Caribbean International ships, including a 5,400-passenger Oasis-class ship, the world’s largest and most innovative cruise ships. The agreement will come before the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners on July 6, 2016.

More than 17,000 women volunteers will come together starting Saturday in their local communities to help build or improve affordable homes alongside future homeowners as part of Habitat for Humanity and Lowe’s 10th annual National Women Build Week. With the help of Lowe’s Heroes volunteers, they will build or improve 600 Habitat homes in nearly 50 states in just one week.
Lowe’s helped launch National Women Build Week in 2008 to empower women with construction skills and give them a platform to tackle affordable homeownership in their communities.

The Swiss watch world is about to be joined by an exciting new addition with a venerable name. Czapek & Cie was re-established by three entrepreneurs with a passion for fine watches and outstanding mechanics. The original founder, François Czapek was a Czech-born, Polish watchmaker, who arrived in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1832. In 1839 he founded Patek, Czapek & Cie with fellow pole Antoni Patek. For six years they produced exceptional watches.
At the end of their partnership, in 1845, he founded Czapek & Cie and became Purveyor to the French Emperor Napoleon the Third. At its height, the company had boutiques in Geneva, Warsaw and Paris, Place Vendôme.
