Today, SC Johnson unveils Usonia: Frank Lloyd Wright’s Vision Of The American Home, a new, free exhibit at The SC Johnson Gallery: At Home with Frank Lloyd Wright, located on the company’s Racine, Wis. campus. Wright and SC Johnson – the family company known for trusted home products such as Windex® and Pledge® – have enjoyed a robust partnership for more than 75 years. This exhibit expands on that legacy celebrating “Usonia,” a term that describes Wright’s architectural vision for the development of cities featuring affordable and practical, yet beautiful, homes.

SC Johnson released its 2013 annual public sustainability report today. The report shares the latest information on the company’s ongoing work to achieve its 2016 environmental goals by using more renewable energy, cutting greenhouse gas emissions, minimizing landfill waste and developing innovative products that use fewer resources and require less packaging. SC Johnson has reduced its global manufacturing waste by 62 percent and increased its use of renewable energy to 30 percent in pursuit of these goals*.

Verbunden mit den kurzen Überhängen vorn und hinten und den seitlichen scharf geformten Linien, symbolisiert er bereits im Stand seine Sportlichkeit.
Marking winter solstice, the longest night of the year, SC Johnson relit its Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Research Tower, which will soon open for public tours for the first time in its history. Today, SC Johnson celebrated the anniversary of one of its recent renewable energy investments, two wind turbines at the company’s largest manufacturing facility, Waxdale, in Mt. Pleasant, Wis. These turbines have successfully cut nearly 6,000 metric tons of greenhouse gases in their first year. Combined with the site’s cogeneration systems already in place, the Waxdale facility, which is the size of 36 football fields, is now able to generate, on average, 100 percent of its electrical energy onsite.
