Cole Haan, the iconic American lifestyle brand and retailer, is excited to announce their partnership with three extraordinary stylists – Karla Welch, Simone Harouche, and Erin Walsh – to collaborate on a one-of-a-kind limited-edition collection for Fall 2018.
These three renowned stylists brought a unique and specialized purview to six iconic Cole Haan silhouettes, through which a final collection of 16 stunning designs were created. Karla Welch, applied her design aesthetic which blends modern minimalism, structured sophistication and effortless cool in the customization and design of each silhouette to create a chic capsule featuring the Vesta pump - a favorite style that transitions seamlessly from day to night. Erin Walsh, known for bringing an elegant editor’s eye to every look, used the Vesta pump as a foundation to integrate the whimsical style she’s famous for. Finally, Simone Harouche, a stylist who has been credited with creating some of pop culture’s most iconic looks, worked with Cole Haan to re-imagine the GrandExpløre All-Terrain Hiker.

SC Johnson, the world’s leading manufacturer of pest control products, is using its 60 years of insect expertise to educate consumers as the Zika virus continues to spread. Immediately following the initial outbreak in Brazil, the company assembled its experts and began developing educational resources for consumers to understand how to best protect themselves against mosquitoes that may carry disease.
In addition to educating consumers, SC Johnson is actively working with organizations around the world to donate and distribute product to those in need. For most of his life when Sarantos had to go through a breakup, he would always turn to his dad for advice. Sadly, not too long ago Sarantos lost his devoted father after a hard-fought battle to lung cancer. This experience had a major impact on Sarantos' life, enabling him to overcome any obstacle that may present itself. The Chicago singer has since been driven to remain strong and positive not just for himself but also for his friends & fans.
The promising artist quickly responded to his fans' request by releasing the music video to his rap hip hop song "Why." With this newly released video, Sarantos hopes to encourage everyone to mend their heart and use their new-found understanding to move forward with their lives.
“Going through life’s hardships has given me the willpower to write songs and to sing from the heart,” says Sarantos. “I wouldn’t have had the passion or energy to strive for my dreams if it wasn’t for my loving family and friends. I know my father would have been very proud of me!”
Sarantos just released his 7th music video for “Why.” The song was released on July 1st, 2014.
Sarantos describes it as, “a hip and powerful rap song that answers the basic questions on every woman's mind about their relationship. Why does he love me? Why does he put up with me? Why does he stay here? Does he care for me? Does he really love me? The answer is lengthy and before he met you, he couldn't tell anyone why but now he can. He tells her exactly why!”
Sarantos has a strong motivation with his musical passion to raise money for charity. One-third of any music-related sales profits are going straight to charity. For “Why,” Sarantos has chosen the Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation. His love for helping others to improve has always been his motivation, and now, his music can reflect that.

A majority of U.S. (74 percent) and Canadian (67 percent) finance and accounting executives surveyed recently said they expect their companies’ compliance burden to rise in the coming years, and 48 percent and 41 percent of U.S. and Canadian executives, respectively, also anticipate the cost of compliance will increase. The National WWII Museum today opened its newest permanent exhibit: Richard C. Adkerson & Freeport-McMoRan Foundation Road to Tokyo: Pacific Theater Galleries. Retracing the grueling trail that led from Pearl Harbor to Tokyo Bay, Road to Tokyo explores the evolving strategy for fighting relentless Japanese forces in Asia and the Pacific, examining cultural differences, logistical challenges and the staggering range of extreme conditions that confronted American military forces in Asia and the Pacific.
Along with Road to Tokyo, the Museum also opened a new exhibit on the US Merchant Marine. LTJG Ralph E. Crump Merchant Marine Gallery is a stand-alone gallery that honors the mariners who risked their lives transporting weapons, men and matériel to distant warfronts. Features include a video, artifacts, a model of a Liberty ship and an engaging array of personal narratives. The gallery is situated in the Solomon Victory Theater complex, at the end of the American Spirit Bridge – a new glass-and-metal bridge that connects the Museum’s Louisiana Memorial Pavilion with the rest of the six-acre campus for the first time.
