Ahead of World Mental Health Day, today sees the publication of the Mental Health Integration Index, a new research initiative commissioned by the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson and undertaken by the Economist Intelligence Unit.1 The research explores the challenges of integrating Europeans with mental illness into society and employment, within the European Union’s 28 Member States, plus Norway and Switzerland. Countries have been ranked according to their degree of commitment to support those living with mental illness; the findings demonstrate that while there are many examples of good practice across Europe, the whole region has a long way to go before people with mental illness are adequately supported and truly integrated into their communities.

Most of us have, and we then try to go through life, putting on a happy face as best we can, but feeling so inadequate inside. Fact: Research shows that between 77% and 90% of women think that they're ugly. Fact: The majority of men doubt themselves and live with fear and insecurity. Fact: 97% of Americans FAIL to achieve their life goals (& it's probably the same in Australia and at least the rest of the western world) Beautiful is a song that brings hope and declares the truth of God's word that basically says you're beautiful and the with God on your side, it's impossible to fail... not a bad promise to keep in mind. As a good friend of mine says, God bankrupted heaven so that he could have you as His friend. You are the pearl of great price and he sold all he had, gave His only Son, so that he could buy you. May God bless you as you listen and may he lift you to a point that you realise that it is God himself who sees you as beautiful, proclaiming you perfect through the blood of Jesus, his Son. Providing further evidence of economic recovery throughout the nation, an Experian trends analysis of new mortgages and bankcards from Q1 2013 showed a 16 percent year-over-year increase in mortgage origination volume and a 20 percent increase in bankcard limits. Other insights offered by Experian, the leading global information services company, include evidence of a strong rebound in the Midwest as well as unprecedented lows in bankcard delinquencies.

Belfast is leading the many commemorations taking place around the world in memory of those who perished on the Titanic’s tragic maiden voyage 100 years ago.
2012, the centenary of the Titanic’s completion, departure and demise, sees Belfast embracing its connection to the trans-Atlantic liner, celebrating the city’s ship-building history and commemorating the great human loss suffered as a result of her sinking.
Titanic’s story is one of celebration and commemoration for Belfast; the two elements will always be intertwined.
Titanic Belfast, the world’s largest Titanic visitor attraction, opened in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 31 March on the very site where the ship was designed, built and first kissed the water.
