Das funktioniert allerdings nur mit einer Menge Fahrkönnen. In die Minimalsten-Lücken zwängen die Fahrkünstler ihr Auto mit Schwung und einem beherzten Griff zur Handbremse. Nichts für Angsthasen! Seit vielen Jahren versuchen sie den Spielraum, bis es kracht, immer kleiner zu halten um einen Eintrag ins bekannte Guinnessbuch der Weltrekorde zu bekommen. In den vergangenen zwei Jahren wurde die Bestmarke insgesamt fünf Mal verbessert. Zuletzt lag der Spielraum in der Parklücke bei nur 22 Zentimetern – geschafft hat das, wie zu erwarten ein Stuntman. Der Chinese Han Yue hat die Lücke auf gerade einmal 15 Zentimeter Platz verkürzt. Doch die beiden Brüder Jon und Alastair Moffatt haben diesen Rekord gebrochen und das mit einer Lücke, die nur 13,1cm. Raum lässt. Damit hält das Brüderpaar aus England den aktuellen Guinness-Rekord.
The Call of Duty™ Endowment today announced $1,110,000 in grants to launch its new ‘chapterization’ model, a funding strategy whereby grants will be provided to organizations that have the ability to scale their operations by opening new, regional offices—or chapters—that offer employment services to veterans.
The Call of Duty Endowment’s announcement comes on the heels of new veterans’ unemployment numbers released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), which found that the unemployment rate for the youngest veterans (aged 18-24) remained over 5 percent higher than for their nonveteran counterparts (20.4 percent and 15 percent, respectively). While the annual report demonstrates a positive trend nationally for the overall veteran unemployment rate, there is much work to be done, especially for our nation’s youngest veterans.

The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) today warned drivers in the Las Vegas area to be on the lookout for criminals targeting trucks in a deliberate attempt to cause an accident for the purpose of collecting insurance money.
As many as 100 suspected staged accidents along the I-15 corridor through the metropolitan Las Vegas area have been reported to NICB in the past 12-18 months and as many as 25 of those accidents targeted big rig trucks. The NICB is working closely with its member companies, the Nevada Insurance Council, the Nevada Highway Patrol, and the Nevada Attorney General’s Office to track down the organizers behind these schemes.
