https://www.facebook.com/JimPetersAus http://www.jimpeters.com.au/Products/albums/beautiful/Full I always try to put an album together rather than a collection of songs, and Beautiful is no exception. Let me ask you... Have you ever felt unworthy, ugly, ashamed, dirty, imperfect, even hopeless? Most of us have, and we then try to go through life, putting on a happy face as best we can, but feeling so inadequate inside. Fact: Research shows that between 77% and 90% of women think that they're ugly. Fact: The majority of men doubt themselves and live with fear and insecurity. Fact: 97% of Americans FAIL to achieve their life goals (& it's probably the same in Australia and at least the rest of the western world) Beautiful is a song that brings hope and declares the truth of God's word that basically says you're beautiful and the with God on your side, it's impossible to fail... not a bad promise to keep in mind. As a good friend of mine says, God bankrupted heaven so that he could have you as His friend. You are the pearl of great price and he sold all he had, gave His only Son, so that he could buy you. May God bless you as you listen and may he lift you to a point that you realise that it is God himself who sees you as beautiful, proclaiming you perfect through the blood of Jesus, his Son. Please let me know how God ministers to you through this. BLUE SONG Music by Maini Sorri Lyrics by Gary Cornman & Dashawn Williams 1. The silent treatment seems to be frequent. Sit by the window I'm feeling so low. 2. Mind boggling insane can almost touch pain rain's running down panes within window frames. Chore: Drops of rain paint the picture and my tears add the texture. Wracked my brain wondering why there's no answer though I try. (TALKING) Magneto Dayo, I see you Maini Dayo Dayo She's wondering why its different/ and why I'm keeping a distance, and giving the silent treatment, because she's not willing to listen/ we went from building a friendship, Now we're feeling resentment/ but neither one of us really has the guts to end it/ and arguing is starting to become a part of us/ and the bruises we took in the past is why our guards is up/ I apologize for acting disloyal/ my morals were destroyed by the one I had before you/ its sad but its all true/ love is a gamble and I loss too/ so this go round i really can't afford to/ seen people go from having wedding/ no happily ever after instead its/ collapsing ahead of them as they battle depression 2. Originally, this recording was never meant to be presented as a actual song but just with me goofing around with my music gear and my guitar "The DOG" just after I picked him up from the music pound. It started soon after my new friend at the time who hooked me up with the gear that I now use, must have thought that I was telling dog tales when I told him that punks used to brag that they would know someone who could blow me away with their guitar skills and I have never seen the day to which that has happened. I don't possess any particular guitar skills but when I put the Dog on my lap, he doesn't act like a traditional lapdog and he doesn't take kindly to strangers. Especially to cats who try to invade and rule the house. Well, a few days later he brought a 16 year old cat going by the name of Brandon...or Brendon along with some other cats to watch the event as B Boy was supposed to blow me away with his PRODIGY SKILLS. It was amazing to watch the boy perform Beethoven stuff and the kind of stuff you see on Youtube. After he played his act with my Dog, he then handed the Dog over to me..."Hey hey..chuckle chuckle" ...I don't walk the Dog...He walk's me...I just tickle his neck and belly and then he'll pull off his Dog tricks to which I have no control over. I explained to my friend later that there's more to playing the guitar than just sitting a dog on your lap to perform tricks. You've gotta have some music to back you up to see how your dog keeps up with the beat and so I made this song up to show him how that's done. I made this one up real fast and tried singing for the first time and arranging vocal parts and just talked about whatever came to mind and just let the Dog do whatever he wanted to do. This is about as raw as it get's. The whole song took me about a week to do.

Paddy O'Gorman visits an Irish Social Welfare Office. I think it was in my hometown of Tallaght. This is a test animation made in After Effects. I heard this segment on Pat Kenny's RTE radio show about people applying for Community Welfare grants in Tallaght, Dublin and besides annoying me at how these people just take, take, take I thought it would be a perfect basis to try out animating in After Effects CS5. These characters/this style will be fine tuned for the Agent Zorlax animated short. Please comment if you have any tips, I know I messed up here and there.
