Bukruk/ Thai-European Connection is the first large-scale collaboration between Thailand and Europe in the field of street art.
Organized by The Toot Yung Gallery, Nemo Studio, BKK Arthouse and sponsored by Bangkok Art and Cultural Center or BACC, and numerous European embassies based in Bangkok, the festival includes an art and design exhibition at BACC as well as graffiti artwork in public spaces around the Pathumwan intersection where the artists have created works on site in the beginning of February 2013
Based on the groundbreaking HBO® series, GAME OF THRONES: The Touring Exhibition will give fans the experience of a lifetime with an up-close and personal look into the world of Westeros and Essos. In collaboration with HBO Global Licensing, global events provider GES designed and built the show’s largest public display to date. The exhibition beautifully showcases the sumptuous costumes, authentic props, and majestic settings from all seven seasons of the worldwide hit series GAME OF THRONES in an interactive, immersive experience which leads visitors through several dynamically themed exhibition areas. Sold Out and Encore are partnering with GES to present the exhibition in Barcelona.
GAME OF THRONES actors Tom Wlaschiha, who played Faceless Man Jaqen H'ghar, and Ian Beattie, who played Kingsguard Knight Meryn Trant, were on hand to celebrate the grand opening.

Shell today celebrated the official opening of the Quest carbon capture and storage (CCS) project in Alberta, Canada, and the start of commercial operations there. Quest is designed to capture and safely store more than one million tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) each year – equal to the emissions from about 250,000 cars. Quest was made possible through strong collaboration between the public and private sectors aimed at advancing CCS globally.

University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS), a leading graduate institution that emphasizes health and rehabilitative sciences education through innovative classroom education, is pleased to announce the installation of SafeGait 360° Balance and Mobility Trainer® on its Austin, Texas campus. The device, which was designed in collaboration with experts in physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT), works to mitigate the risk of injury from falls, protecting both the patient and therapist. In addition, SafeGait 360°’s dynamic fall protection (DFP) distinguishes between a patient’s intentional downward movement and when a patient is actually falling, which allows therapists to easily modify fall protection sensitivity to accommodate and challenge patients at varying stages of independence.
USAHS is one of the first higher education institutions in the nation to install this innovative body-weight support and fall protection system. In addition to conducting ground breaking research with patients and students, faculty members with extensive experience in body-weight treatments aim to open a clinic which will provide new treatment options to patients in the Austin community, and will begin seeing patients in October of this year.

From January 25-27 more than 4,000 college and high school basketball coaches across the United States will be making much more than just a fashion statement when they sport tennis shoes with their suits during the 10th annual Suits and Sneakers weekend.
Suits and Sneakers weekend is an annual event coordinated by the Coaches vs. Cancer program, a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The Coaches vs. Cancer program empowers basketball and other athletic coaches to save lives from cancer by leveraging their community leadership to raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society.
