My mother suffered for over 35 plus years with this and had a colostomy bag as well after a spell in hospital in an unrelated illness she was in a coma for 9 days and when she came home through dietary changes she stopped suffering. Debbie changed her diet getting all dairy products out from cheese to pizza to cream cakes and milk . This stopped the pain as you will see in the video her mothers response when given some custard in the hospital how the pain came on very suddenly. The United Nations Foundation’s Shot@Life campaign marks World Pneumonia Day, November 12, by asking Americans to raise awareness, funds and advocate to members of Congress to support global immunization programs. Pneumonia kills nearly a million children under the age of five each year and almost half of those deaths are vaccine-preventable.
“Around the world one in five children lack access to the vaccines they need,” said Devi Thomas, Director, UN Foundation’s Shot@Life campaign. “By raising awareness, funding and asking members of Congress to support global immunization programs we can ensure that every child, no matter where they live, is given a shot at a healthy life.”

Volvo Cars’ design team have completely re-imagined how children could travel safely in cars in the future.
The move follows the Shanghai reveal of the XC90 Excellence and the Lounge Console Concept, which marked a bold and luxurious step forward for the Swedish car brand.
“We started by asking ourselves if we could make life easier for parents and safer for their children when it comes to the child seat experience. We focused on three key benefits – making it easier to get the child into and out of the child seat from an ergonomic and comfort perspective, providing the child with a safe rearward facing seating position that enables it to keep eye-contact with either the driver or the rear passenger and of course including enough storage for those vital child accessories, such as diapers, bottles, wipes, and so on,” said Tisha Johnson, Chief Designer Interiors at Volvo Cars Concept and Monitoring Centre.

Every 33 seconds a child under 13 is involved in a car crash in the United States, according to 2014 data from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Safety seats, if used correctly, can dramatically reduce the risk of fatality or injury. But 59 percent of car seats are misused in a way that could reduce their effectiveness, and over one-third of children killed in car crashes were completely unrestrained at the time of the crash. Today, NHTSA and the Ad Council unveiled a new series of public service advertisements (PSAs) to educate parents and caregivers about the importance of selecting the right seat for their child’s age and size, and to remind them that car seats, booster seats and seat belts offer the best protection for children in crashes and help save lives.
“Life can change in an instant. We want parents and caregivers to prepare for the unexpected, rather than face their worst nightmare,” said Dr. Mark Rosekind, NHTSA administrator. “Buckling up a child correctly and in the right seat is the best protection any parent can do to see their child walk away unharmed from a car crash.”
