The cost of long term care continues rising at a rate outpacing inflation creating significant financial planning challenges for the nearly 12 million Americans currently in need of long term care services. According to the Genworth (NYSE: GNW) 2014 Cost of Care Survey released today, the cost of receiving in-home care continues to rise, though at a more moderate rate of growth. This is good news for consumers as almost three quarters of people needing long term care prefer receiving it in their homes, according to Genworth’s extensive claims data (Long term care claims Experience Data for Genworth Life Insurance Company and affiliates – December 1974-June 30, 2013).

Leading automaker GAC Motor has released its best-selling GS4 in Bahrain at the grand new car launching ceremony from December 9 to 10 at Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre. The company exhibited eight GS4, eight GA6, two GS8 and one GA8 at the two-day launch event, which attracted more than 20,000 people attending.
“This was the largest new car release event in the history of Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC),” said Adel Hubail, CEO of Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company. “The GS4 launch gained wide attention from the Bahrain public and the local customers spoke very highly of the flagship SUV and GAC Motor. The Ford Focus Electric is really a 5-door hatchback electric car manufactured by Ford. The Focus Electric is Ford's first full production, all-electric passenger vehicle, and production began in December 2011 Deliveries for fleet customers from the United States began in December 2011, and yes it was released to retail customers in May 2012 only in California, New York and New Jersey, in limited numbers, then the other 16 initial markets from the third quarter of 2012. The European release was first slated for late 2012, but was re-scheduled to start out deliveries in August 2013.
Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of Sanofi (EURONEXT: SAN and NYSE: SNY), announced today that its first doses of Fluzone® (Influenza Vaccine) for the 2016-2017 influenza (“flu”) season have been released by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for shipment. This represents the first of more than 65 million total doses of seasonal influenza vaccine manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur that will be delivered to U.S. health care providers and pharmacies beginning in July and continuing throughout the remainder of the year. Sanofi Pasteur plans to increase its supply to respond to the shifting pediatric public health needs.
Seasonal influenza activity typically occurs between October and May and peaks between December and February. However, influenza activity peaked noticeably late last season occurring in early March 2016.1 Influenza seasons are always unpredictable as new influenza strains emerge and strain activity fluctuates throughout the year, making timely vaccination even more important to help protect against the virus, especially for seniors, young children and infants six months of age and older.

It's been a month since I uploaded Supercar and so the time has come for my December song. The idea for this one came while I was waiting for the bus to bring me back home. Often when I write a song, most of it is composed in my head as I had the string line and percussion already laid out in my mind for this one. The trick is to actually create the exact sound that I'm hearing in my head. Once that it done, I have to write the words and then see if I can actually sing the song and decide then if my voice is right for it. I'm very happy with the results here and how this song turned out.

More than 48 million people in America struggle with food insecurity, including 15 million children – at a life stage when food is critical to healthy growth and development. Food insecurity is defined as a lack of access, at times, to enough food for an active, healthy life, according to the USDA. It is an issue that affects every single county in our country.
