The Breitling Jet Team, Breitling Wingwalkers and Yves “Jetman” Rossy are flying East for winter, to bring Breitling’s passions for aviation to new audiences in what is being collectively called “The Breitling Dragon Tour”.
All three teams are heading to Asia to participate in Airshow China 2012, held in Zhuhai, Guangdong province. Although the 1940’s Stearmans of the wingwalking team and Yves Rossy’s Jetwings can all be shipped there in containers, the Breitling Jet Team will have to get there with their own wings. Leaving from Dijon this Tuesday, they will fly through Eastern Europe, into Russia passing through Siberia, then on to Mongolia and down through China to reach their destination by mid-October.

Jointly hosted by several government departments including the National Tourism Administration of China, the General Administration of Sport of China and the Zhejiang Provincial Government, the 14th West Lake International Expo Hangzhou, China officially kicked off on October 13. Organization of the 22-day event was administered by Hangzhou’s municipal government.
The main venue for the event is located in the heart of Hangzhou, while activities are also taking place at an additional 14 smaller venues located in nearby locations including at the Hangzhou metropolitan economic zone and throughout the Yangtze River Delta. The 132–program event features a series of shows including West Lake International Fireworks Show, West Lake Art Expo, China International Press Photo Contest, West Lake International Sculpture Exhibition and China Arts and Crafts Masterwork Exhibition.

Opel ist nach fünfjähriger Abstinenz wieder auf der wichtigsten Automesse Chinas und hat dazu drei neue Modelle, die im Laufe des Jahres dort auf den Markt kommen werden, mitgebracht. Die Autoshow in Shanghai zeigt, dass das Auto im boomenden China einen ganz hohen Stellenwert hat. Auch wenn inzwischen das Thema Umweltverträglichkeit wichtiger geworden ist, als noch vor einigen Jahren, ist es mehr als nur ein Transportmittel. The 29-day 15th West Lake International Expo Hangzhou, China, which is co-organized by the China National Tourism Administration, General Administration of Sport of China and Zhejiang Provincial Government and hosted by Hangzhou Municipal Government, will kick off on October 12.

Nuorilang Waterfall, located in Sichuan province’s Jiuzhai Valley, recently took the top spot in an online poll for China’s Top 10 Most Beautiful Waterfalls.
The 270-meter wide, 24.5 meter high Nuorilang Waterfall, at 2,365 meters, is an expansive travertine waterfall and the widest waterfall in China. Nuorilang means “male god” in Tibetan and symbolizes both majesty and sublimity. The waterfall freezes in winter, creating the rare phenomenon of blue ice under warm sunshine, making the waterfall an unusually distinctive stop among Jiuzhai Valley’s many attractions.

Many large-scale international conventions and exhibitions were held in Chengdu during 2013, bringing a notably higher level of international recognition to the city’s convention and exhibition industry and efficiently promoting the development of trade and commerce across the city.
