Food Network’s top-rated hit Chopped All-Stars returns for a second season filled with fan-favorite chefs, unexpected ingredients, and fierce competition for a $50,000 prize for charity on Sunday, April 8th at 9pm ET/PT. In each of the five themed episodes, hosted by Ted Allen, four specially selected chefs are challenged to create three masterful courses from ingredients in the mystery basket, ranging from beef tendon and crawfish, to black beans with queso fresco and chicken feet. Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast was introduced at Six Flags St. Louis today with St. Louis Cardinal and World Series MVP David Freese on-hand for the first official ride. Eighteen members of Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Louis joined Freese for the inaugural launch-ride on the park’s newest twist to one of its most popular thrill rides. Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast sends riders backwards through a 190-foot tunnel, into a 180-degree inversion, then climbs more than 200-feet in the air where they will find themselves suspended, dangling in the air, before repeating the entire chilling experience.
“I have been coming to Six Flags since I was a kid and the roller coasters have always been my favorite,” said Freese. “I was really excited to ride Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast. The backwards launch and experience of going up the tower facing straight down is a real rush.”

Grapevine, Texas has some new characters in town. The interesting thing is, you have to look upwards 75 feet toward Grapevine’s Glockenspiel Clock Tower to see them.
Grapevine recently dedicated its 127-foot-high Clock Tower featuring two larger-than-life, 9-foot tall Glockenspiel characters, known as the Would-Be Train Robbers, Nat Barrett and Willy Majors. Located 75 feet in the air within the Clock Tower, these figures emerge each day shortly before the stroke of noon and 6 p.m. to attempt the perfect heist. Just as Glockenspiels in Europe are rooted in history, Grapevine’s Clock Tower figures reflect the Western lore that many visitors from outside Texas find interesting and entertaining. The debut was featured as part of the dedication of the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau’s Headquarters and Museum Complex during the City’s 28th Annual Main Street Days festival.

Towering at a world-record 400 feet, LEX LUTHOR: Drop of Doom was introduced at Six Flags Magic Mountain today. Ryan Trengrove (Class A PGA member), owner of a state-of-the-art indoor golf training facility called Golf Swing Prescription (Laguna Hills, CA), shows you how conquer one of the most common problems in Golf - keeping your lower body stable while swinging the golf club!
Ryan states that if you can get your lower body to be more stable, you will have a lot more fun when you are playing golf. Ryan shows you a video of one of Golf’s great player’s, Davis Love III, to display great lower body stability. Ryan points out how Davis’s lower body not only stays in the “same sit” and “same flex” as Davis goes up to the top of his golf swing, but, also when he goes back down to hit the golf ball.
Ryan also points out the importance of NOT having your lower body “sway”, but to have it “swivel” instead. The goal is to keep the lower body in its flex, so that you can have it sit, and keep the hip in the same spot. If you are able to do this, as you come from the top of your swing down to the ball, you should make solid contact.
In order to assist you in achieving better lower body stability, Ryan shows you a golf drill called the “Feet Together Drill”. This drill has the golfer setup to hit the golf ball with their feet together, which will prevent the golfer from going “side to side” during the swing. The idea behind the drill is to have the golfer hit a number of shots with their feet together so that they can get the “feeling” of not “going side to side” and being stable. Once you get use to the feeling, then you can widen your golf stance, trying to maintain the same “stable feeling” felt during the drill, with your base “swiveling” and not “swaying”.
Ryan goes on to show you one more drill to help you that he got from Golf Professional, Nick Faldo called the “Right Foot Forward – Left Leg Back Drill” (just switch if you are left handed). The goal of this drill is to help you focus on keeping the flex in your right knee. You get in your normal golf stance, but, just move your left leg back a couple of feet, and then hit the ball. So what this drill does is to focus you on keeping the proper flex in your right knee.
What Ryan wants you to do is to work on the combination of the “Feet Together Drill” and the “Right Foot Forward –Left Leg Back Drill” so that when you get up to your golf ball you focus on staying centered – no “side to side” and keeping your right knee flexed. Ryan points out that if you can do this, that you should make better contact with the ball!

(NYSE:CMN), and Prestige Ameritech, the only two major U.S.-based medical mask manufacturers have joined forces to bring attention to a glaring void in public health research and policy – that, if addressed, has the potential to more quickly provide a simple, effective tool to mitigate the spread of influenza and other respiratory borne viruses. The awareness campaign comes in response to a new study, “ Exposure to Influenza Virus Aerosols During Routine Patient Care,” published in The Journal of Infectious Diseases, showing that influenza viruses may spread as far as six feet from a person coughing or sneezing, and that some people, referred to as “super spreaders,” may be more likely to spread the virus. The study, supported by the Department of Health and Human Services with a $600,000 research grant, pointed specifically to concerns for healthcare workers being exposed to coughs from sick patients. Yet government research and policy continues to overlook face masks as a feasible protection measure for both the healthcare industry and the general public.
