I'm sure we're all gonna miss our college days. Specially those who wont be going for further studies (FURTHER STUDIES!!!!!! INSANE!!!). A business school alumnus has cycled over 16,000 km from Shanghai to London, to raise money for a children’s charity.
Matthieu Liard, a graduate of the CEMS Master’s in International Management programme and HEC Alumnus began the mammoth journey in March this year. Along with friend Oli Goulden, he cycled through 16 countries, four deserts and three mountain ranges.

Robert Morris University marked its 90th anniversary Tuesday evening during a celebration at its new School of Business complex, the centerpiece of a $40 million fundraising campaign.
Robert Morris was founded on Sept. 21, 1921, in downtown Pittsburgh as the Pittsburgh School of Accountancy. The new 18,000-square-foot School of Business complex, which includes The PNC Trading Center, The United States Steel Corporation Video Conferencing and Technology Center, and The ATI Center, gives the university’s business school its first official home at its suburban Pittsburgh campus.

“When I decided to come back to school and pursue my bachelor’s degree I did have a fear of how I was going to fit the studies into my schedule. It had been quite a while since I graduated with my associate’s degree. I was already working full time when I started here at Kaplan [University], and I’m also a parent. “I had my undergraduate degree in international business for just about seven years and I have always wanted to get my master’s degree. Many students leave the house without eating breakfast in the morning and at noon fast food restaurants and bakeries near schools enjoy the fact that they are becoming more and more popular. Did you know central Wisconsin is the ideal place to cultivate ginseng, an herb prized by Chinese and other Asian cultures for its health benefits? Neither did first-generation immigrant Paul Hsu. After he figured it out, he founded Hsu Ginseng Enterprises, which continually sets the standards for quality and purity as the global leader in the ginseng industry.
Meanwhile, Paul’s son, Will, grew up and went on to college. He earned his degree in finance at the University of Wisconsin’s School of Business with additional majors in Chinese language and East Asian studies. After graduation, Will accepted a position at General Mills, where he worked for more than a decade. During that time, the company sponsored his MBA at Harvard Business School.
Two seemingly divergent paths for father and son, but a question kept persisting for Will that kept those two paths from completely separating: “Are you going to take over the family business?”
