Walt Disney Records is set to release a new hologram vinyl version of the original motion picture soundtrack for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. With score conducted and composed by five-time Academy Award®-winning composer John Williams and liner notes by the film’s director, J.J. Abrams, the double LP features a 16-page booklet on 180 gram vinyl. This one-of-a-kind vinyl set, hand etched by Tristan Duke (Jack White’s Lazaretto) of Infinity Light Science, offers a 3D hologram experience featuring the Millennium Falcon on Disc 1/Side B and a TIE Fighter on Disc 2/Side B. For optimal viewing, use a direct light source or simply hold a mobile phone flashlight above the vinyl to view the holograms. The must-have vinyl album also features Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) for an optimal listening experience. Disney Music Group has joined forces with Pro-Ject Audio Systems to showcase this unique, next-level advancement in holographic vinyl technology with the Elemental turntable, a combination of minimalist design and maximum performance from the world leader in high fidelity turntables. The two brands will collaborate on co-promotions at retail, online, and radio. To view the multimedia release go to: http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7847351-star-wars-the-force-awakens-vinyl/

The National WWII Museum today opened its newest permanent exhibit: Richard C. Adkerson & Freeport-McMoRan Foundation Road to Tokyo: Pacific Theater Galleries. Retracing the grueling trail that led from Pearl Harbor to Tokyo Bay, Road to Tokyo explores the evolving strategy for fighting relentless Japanese forces in Asia and the Pacific, examining cultural differences, logistical challenges and the staggering range of extreme conditions that confronted American military forces in Asia and the Pacific. Along with Road to Tokyo, the Museum also opened a new exhibit on the US Merchant Marine. LTJG Ralph E. Crump Merchant Marine Gallery is a stand-alone gallery that honors the mariners who risked their lives transporting weapons, men and matériel to distant warfronts. Features include a video, artifacts, a model of a Liberty ship and an engaging array of personal narratives. The gallery is situated in the Solomon Victory Theater complex, at the end of the American Spirit Bridge – a new glass-and-metal bridge that connects the Museum’s Louisiana Memorial Pavilion with the rest of the six-acre campus for the first time. The music video for the full version of "Juarez" off the debut EP, "Contents Under Pressure" by Mirage Box. http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/MirageBox Mirage Box is a place where magic happens, where illusions seem real, where the oasis is lavish, inviting and tantalizing. It is where secrets are kept, truths are told, dreams come alive, and where imaginative music thrives. Mirage Box's music has been described as "modern retro"; a celebration for the great songwriting and music production of the artist heyday of the late 60s and through the 70s. Mirage Box's music and writing style reflects the various flavors of pop and rock music of the classic rock era, from lush ballads to psychedelic trippyness, high-energy rock to playful punk, Chicago soul, Prog Rock, a dash of metal and liberal vocal harmonies. Mirage Box's music production employs many of the classic sounds and instruments of the by-gone era, but with a modern slant. Mirage Box aims to create soundscapes, painting scenes with music that takes listeners on journeys. Fans of album rock and headphone audiophiles will appreciate Mirage Box's compositions. Mirage Box is a creative collaboration between Nick Coppola, a prolific songwriter and lyricist, and Chris Capozza, a multi-instrumentalist audio engineer and music producer. Mirage Box seeks to be indefinable to one genre of music. Influenced by The Beatles, Elton John, Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Yes, Kansas, Genesis, Dream Theater, CS&N, The Who, Pink Floyd, Eagles, Sex Pistols, Chicago, Styx, Asia, Jim Croce, Jimmy Buffet, Soundgarden, Boston and Steely Dan, writers Nick and Chris combine various styles as the vehicles of their original music, often employing Mellotrons, MiniMoogs, B3s and Leslies, Taurus Pedals, doublenecks, Rickenbackers, Hofners, Les Pauls, Telecasters as well as orchestral and brass sections to create epic music, brimming with melodies, countermelodies, cannons, counterpoints and lush vocal harmonies. There is something for everyone in Mirage Box’s music, and always new elements to be discovered. So put on the headphones, turn down the lights, sit back, relax and join us on a musical journey as we present the contents in the Mirage Box.

Here is a great multi-camera video that was filmed, edited and produced for us on location in various areas of the South Bay of Los Angeles, CA by MacCee . With an HD Video, JAK FROST is a very creative, very much upward bound and hard hitting Hard rock/Metal band that is very ably helmed by Michael De Laurentiis the guitarist/ vocalist/founder. Mike Mohr is the bass player and Ian Michaels is the drummer. Both are very able and excellent musicians who bring their own wealth of experience, talent, and creativity with them. With a volatile mixture on many fronts going for them, many dimensions and many facets are brought to and explored in the furtherance of the hard rock genre as they understand it. Who's that guy in the monk outfit with those eyes in the opening and closing beach shot sequences? Why, that's Michael. Also, be on the lookout for the Goodyear blimp flying in the background of one of the beach shot chorus sequences featuring Michael, Michael's excellent acoustic guitar solo in another of the beach shot sequences, and for the Pelicans diving into the ocean in the closing beach shot sequence in the distance of that monk walking towards the water's edge. Be sure to check out our Website and our Facebook Page (which is found listed in the credits at the end of the video). OR .jakfrost1.com or facebook.com/jakfrost7777 Video is Copyright © 2014 - Michael De Laurentiis.

A level IV trauma center in Washington State has installed copper components throughout its facility as another way of reducing hospital-acquired infections and keeping their patients safe. Pullman Regional Hospital has become an early adopter of antimicrobial copper after studies found that the age-old metal could continuously kill deadly bacteria. Each year, 2 million people in the United States are diagnosed with a hospital-acquired infection and nearly 100,000 people die. These infections are caused by common bacteria such as E. coli, MRSA, C. diff, CRE and VRE. “It is a very serious problem,” said Ed Harrich, the director of surgical services for Pullman Regional Hospital. “I think every hospital across the nation is doing everything they can to try to deal with it the best that they can. But there’s bioburden on everything and people aren’t good at hand washing and there’s cross-contamination everywhere you go.” To view the Multimedia News Release, go to http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7378651-copper-development-association-cda-pullman-regional-hospital-keep-patients-safe-antimicrobial-copper/

http://www.osv.ltd.uk/lexus.php What to make of the Lexus CT200h? On the outside it looks like some tuner inspired by The Fast and Furious movie series, but under the sheet metal, it has mechanical bits designed to make a Greenpeacer swoon. It's quite the contradiction. With the CT200h, Lexus is hoping to fill a gap that no one knew existed...See More http://www.osv.ltd.uk/lexus.php
