Worst Cooks in America returns with a starry twist this fall, as Rachael Ray joins four-time winner Anne Burrell in the kitchen to transform seven celebrity cooking disasters into culinary VIPs. Anne and Rachael each lead a team of personalities who have many talents on-screen, but little savvy in the kitchen - and these food masters are determined to whip the celebs into culinary shape. The all-star recruits are: Dean Cain, Ellen Cleghorne, Jenni “Jwoww” Farley, Chris Soules, Jaleel White, Kendra Wilkinson and Barry Williams. The contestant who makes the most impressive food transformation wins a $50,000 grand prize for charity, as well as bragging rights for their team leader. The celebrity edition of Worst Cooks in America premieres Wednesday, September 23rd at 9pm ET/PT.
“With Anne and Rachael as team leaders to a roster of cooking-challenged celebrities, Worst Cooks boot camp is high energy and hilarious,” said Bob Tuschman, General Manager and Senior Vice President, Food Network. “The kitchen is bursting with big personalities and comical culinary mishaps – but along the way some of these celebs actually develop impressive cooking chops.”

Finding time to eat well doesn’t mean you have to resort to eating out or going through the drive through during this busy fall season. New data analysis, supported in part by by Nestlé USA, indicates that people who reported dining on frozen meals ate fewer calories per day and consumed less saturated fat than those who reported eating fast food meals, also known as quick service restaurant (QSR) meals.1 The findings also showed that those who reported eating frozen meals consumed more essential nutrients than those who reported opting for fast food meals.
The findings are based on a new analysis of data from the 2003-2010 What We Eat In America (WWEIA) National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), a program of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

For many sports fans, it’s “that” time of the year. College and professional football season equate to prime time tailgating season. Fans seem to be tailgating more than ever as Tailgater Magazine estimates that 50 million people tailgate annually in North America.
Each year, tailgaters seem to try to compete for the biggest and best tailgates. Besides radios, blenders, and hot plates, it’s not uncommon to find big screen TVs, gaming systems, stereos, and of course, cell phone chargers at a typical tailgate this fall. All of this electronic equipment requires portable power to keep it running. Briggs & Stratton’s PowerSmart Series™ P3000 inverter generator takes tailgating to a whole new level for sports fans that require a quiet, lightweight, and fuel efficient portable generator to power all of their big game tailgating essentials.

90% of children’s brain development occurs by the time they turn 6. So the right experiences at this early age are undeniably vital. However, Indian preschools often rely on teaching styles that aren’t appropriate for our youngest learners, leaving children unprepared for school and beyond. Understanding the dire need for high quality preschool education in India, America’s largest preschool educator, Sesame Street launched Sesame Street Preschools in India in 2012.
Sesame Street Preschools are child-centered, pre-primary education centres, launched as a venture of Sesame Schoolhouse, the latest educational initiative from Sesame Workshop, one of the largest non-profit informal educational organisations. Sesame Workshop is present in over a 150 countries and produces educational content across television, radio, mobile, tablets and print. Sesame Workshop has been present in India since 2006, through its television show, Galli Galli Sim Sim and now Chamki ki Duniya.

For negotiators at the Paris climate conference (COP21) to successfully advance global efforts to reduce carbon emissions, nations must embrace a prominent role for nuclear energy.
The Obama administration highlighted the crucial role of nuclear energy when it convened a White House Summit on Nuclear Energy earlier this month. “As America leads the global transition to a low-carbon economy, the continued development of new and advanced nuclear technologies along with support for currently operating nuclear power plants is an important component of our clean energy strategy,” a White House fact sheet developed for the summit states. Many environmentalists are also giving nuclear energy a second look, as they seek practical solutions to constrain carbon emissions.
Nuclear energy facilities provide 63 percent of America’s zero-carbon electricity. Globally, nuclear power plants provide one-third of all zero-carbon electricity. One of nuclear energy’s major advantages relative to other low-carbon energy sources is its unique ability to produce large-scale electricity around-the-clock in extreme weather conditions. Nuclear energy facilities don’t rely on the wind blowing, the sun shining, or just-in-time deliveries of fuel by truck, barge, rail or pipeline. In 2014, the U.S. nuclear energy industry’s average capacity factor—a common measure of efficiency and reliability—was 92 percent.
