The creative masterminds from Merlin Magic Making, the global creative and delivery division of parent company Merlin Entertainments Group, re-created Bricksburg with its lovable characters, creative eating spaces and authentic city scape where guests can experience Emmet’s Super Suite.

Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Sprüngli (Schweiz) AG today celebrated the official opening of LINDT SWISS CHOCOLATE HEAVEN at the Jungfraujoch “Top of Europe,” 3,454 meters above sea level, together with the Jungfrau Railway and LINDT brand ambassador Roger Federer. The themed chocolate shop offers a wide range of the finest LINDT chocolate, and the adjacent Master Chocolatiers parlor gives visitors a fascinating insight into how chocolate is made.
However, the highlight of the official opening was the tennis exhibition match between LINDT brand ambassador and tennis champion Roger Federer and American ski racer Lindsey Vonn, which was played on the Aletsch Glacier against the backdrop of the Alps. Kings Dominion – home of the bigger, better Planet Snoopy – kicks off the unofficial start of summer on Memorial Day weekend with the opening of WaterWorks, Kings Dominion’s 20-acre water park which is included with the price of admission.
Kings Dominion will also honor our nation’s heroes with Military Days May 25 – 27 and Dominion at Dusk which features a firework show, Snoopy’s Starlight Spectacular with more than one million LED lights and Street Beats, an all-new dance party on the famous International Street. Dominion at Dusk will operate during every 10 P.M. park closing from May 25th through Labor Day weekend.

With the airing of Super Bowl XLVIII, 20 Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) students became the first to have a hand in designing the opening animation for FOX Sports’ broadcast of the NFL’s annual championship game. A television event that likely will be one of the top 10 most-watched programs in history, the broadcast was expected to draw an audience of more than 100 million.
The opening animation of the broadcast was set in New York’s iconic Times Square, and brought the worlds of art and football together to capture the superior athleticism of NFL players. SCAD students helped create the concept and design for the animation using assets provided by FOX Sports and by fashioning new creative elements.

Country superstar Darius Rucker helped the resort usher in a new look and name as he played to a crowd of 17,000 as the inaugural headlining act for The Great Lawn, Harrah’s new waterfront entertainment space.
