Starring Mauricio Ochmann, Mariana Seoane, Julio Bracho, Itatí Cantoral, Carmen Aub, Alexandra de la Mora, Arcelia Ramírez and Sergio Basáñez, the Super Series is directed by Danny Gavidia and Nicolás Di Blasi, and produced by Mariana Iskandarani and Patricia Benítez.

PRONOVIAS, the leading bridal fashion firm, delighted more than 2,000 guests at the firm's catwalk show at the MNAC in Barcelona, for the presentation of the Atelier Pronovias 2018 Collection. The firm gathered celebrities from the world of fashion and film, Spanish and international socialites, press and buyers from around the world. The audience enjoyed the fashion show with a unique mise-en-scene, under a theme called “WISH” with a spectacular wishing well at center stage.

Cuba was witness once again to the largest annual international event celebrating the Habano culture. The festival has come to an end with the celebration of the Gala Evening that paid tribute to the Cohiba brand on its 50th Anniversary, with exclusive tastings of its new releases. The gala hosted 1,200 guests that enjoyed live performances by Cuban pianist and composer, Chucho Valdes; the Spanish flamenco singer, Estrella Morente; and the Uruguayan singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler.
This year the traditional humidor auction of seven collector items reached a total of 865.000€ that will be entirely donated to the Cuban Public Health System. This edition has been especially unique thanks to the auction of the first humidor (01/50) of the exclusive special series “Cohiba 50 Aniversario”, which raised 320.000 euros. This humidor is an authentic work of art and a unique collector's item, and heralds a true innovation in terms of traditional craftsmanship and technical design and development.
During the evening, the “Maestro de Maestros” was chosen in the XV International Habanosommelier Contest. The winner was Juan Jesús Machín from Cuba. Luis Manuel García Urrea (United Arab Emirates) and Pedro Tejeda (Cuba) were runners-up in second and third place respectively.

Barcelona is hosting the third edition of the Wine & Culinary International Forum today, a biennial international conference dedicated to food and wine pairing promoted by Bodegas Torres. Over 250 professionals, including sommeliers, restaurant owners, distributors and journalists from almost 20 different countries, participated in the event. Celebrated in the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, it provided a forum in which to reflect and discuss the complementary relationship between wine and food under the heading “Wine and World Cuisines.”
The president of Bodegas Torres, Miguel A. Torres, opened the event, which featured talks, tastings and culinary demonstrations by a total of 20 national and international experts who are highly regarded in their fields. Among them, Josep Roca, sommelier at El Celler de Can Roca; the award winning wine-writer and journalist Sarah Jane Evans MW, an expert in Spanish wines as well as the former Chairman of the Institute of Masters of Wine; the prestigious French enologist Pascal Chatonnet, one of the leading researchers into the microbiological factors involved in the interaction between wine and oak; Canadian researcher François Chartier, a pioneer in the aromatic science of molecular food matching since 2004 and author of Taste Buds and Molecules, world’s best innovative food 2010; the renowned French wine critic Michel Bettane; and the endocrinologist Dr. Francisco Tinahones, a researcher at the University of Malaga.

El popular locutor de la Súper Estrella 107.1 FM, Eddie “Piolín” Sotelo, estuvo a cargo de la conducción y de presentar al talentoso y carismático cantante de Hermosillo, Sonora. El Dasa arrancó el concierto cantando “Perdí el Sombrero”, el tema principal de “El Vato”, la serie original de NBC UNIVERSO creada para el mercado hispano en Estados Unidos. Luego le siguió con “Alegre y Enamorado”, un tema que rinde tributo a todos los estados de México y donde la emoción de los asistentes se sintió cada vez que se mencionaba su estado natal. Pero el ambiente se prendió cuando el Dasa empezó a bailar con sus movimientos sensuales de cadera al cantar “Mentirosa”. La canción que desató gritos efusivos fue cuando El Dasa dedicó a todas las damitas “Por ser Bonita”. Aparte de cantar sus éxitos y otras clásicas canciones de banda, los asistentes tuvieron la primicia de escuchar “Ya me vi”, el primer sencillo de su nuevo material discográfico que saldrá a la venta este verano.
