Today Evergreen Packaging, with support from KidsGardening.org, announces the launch of the second annual Carton 2 Garden contest, a nation-wide competition inviting K-12 students to repurpose milk and juice cartons to build creative gardens or enhance their schools’ existing garden. The Carton 2 Garden Program promotes hands-on teaching, with opportunities for building important problem solving and life skills, and awards more than $25,000 in prizes to schools across the country. This initiative underscores Evergreen Packaging’s on-going commitment to raise awareness about the importance of eco-friendly packaging.

On 2 November 2014, Nik Wallenda, the “King of the Highwire”, now 9-time World Record holder and JEANRICHARD ambassador, crossed the skyline of the windy city of Chicago for Discovery’s Skyscraper Live with Nik Wallenda. The Chicago riverfront was filled with over 65 000 excited spectators and press from all over the world, who followed Wallenda’s every step on the tightrope. Just for fun, I decided to try recording my voice and I discovered that once again I can sing through my sound system and so I'm giving my vocoloid program a break as I am once again singing the lead vocal work. I still used my vocoloid program for the backup vocals to the chorus of this song .... I love collaborating with my computer .... Even if it does terminate my voice from time to time. As long as it doesn't try to terminate me because I'm the one who hold's the hammer ..... and the remote control.

Dinosaurs brought busy weekend traffic to a halt on Saturday but thankfully avoided causing a tyrannosaurus wreck. Both residents and tourists of Dubai were stunned to see a convoy of ferocious dinosaurs making their way to their new home in IMG Worlds of Adventure, the world’s largest indoor theme park.
Despite being escorted by Dubai police, one dinosaur was reported missing as the caravan roared through the city. A hunt to capture the fugitive dinosaur is on! Anyone spotting it is requested to report their sighting on social media using the hashtag #SpotTheDino.
The dinosaurs are a part of a collection of sixty-nine state-of-the-art animatronic creatures created by leading Japanese company Kokoro, which are now installed at IMG Worlds of Adventure, set to open early next year. IMG Worlds of Adventure is owned by IMG Theme Park L.L.C. and comprises four zones: MARVEL, Lost Valley-Dinosaur Adventure, Cartoon Network and IMG Boulevard. IMG Worlds of Adventure will also feature a 12 screen state-of–the-art Novo cinema with 3 VIP theaters and a giant IMAX screen.
