The iconic Caesars Palace celebrated Independence Day Weekend by paying homage to its colorful history of hosting amazing daredevil stunts with a night jump by the Red Bull Air Force skydiving team in front of the famed resort on Sunday, June 3, followed by a colossal 13 ½ minute fireworks extravaganza.
The festive party began just before sundown with live entertainment on the iconic front fountains. Winner of “American Idol” season five, Taylor Hicks, got the patriotic party started with his popular song, “Seven Mile Breakdown,” followed by “Nineteen”. The roster of live entertainment also included cast members from ABSINTHE and the TSA Color Guard.

Hosting a four stateroom layout plus crew quarters, The Rock can sleep up to eight guest and two crew. Walking onto the aft deck provides outdoor dining with seating for eight and easy access to the fly-bridge or extended swim platform.
Upon entering the main salon you will immediately notice a large leather U shaped settee to starboard and port with a drop down projection screen TV. The high gloss cherry and burl wood throughout is an added bonus showing off the yachts finish. Forward of the settee is a wet bar to port with stool for two and day-head.
The dining table can seat eight guest with a large custom cherry table to match. Forward of the dining table is access to the raised pilothouse as well as to the forward galley and separate crew quarters with a shower and head.
The starboard staircase leads to the two guest staterooms all ensuite heads followed to the spacious Master Stateroom ensuite with a cedar lined walk in closet.
On the port side aft in the main salon is a stairwell down to the VIP stateroom and engine room.
Barcelona is hosting the third edition of the Wine & Culinary International Forum today, a biennial international conference dedicated to food and wine pairing promoted by Bodegas Torres. Over 250 professionals, including sommeliers, restaurant owners, distributors and journalists from almost 20 different countries, participated in the event. Among them, Josep Roca, sommelier at El Celler de Can Roca; the award winning wine-writer and journalist Sarah Jane Evans MW, an expert in Spanish wines as well as the former Chairman of the Institute of Masters of Wine; the prestigious French enologist Pascal Chatonnet, one of the leading researchers into the microbiological factors involved in the interaction between wine and oak; Canadian researcher François Chartier, a pioneer in the aromatic science of molecular food matching since 2004 and author of Taste Buds and Molecules, world’s best innovative food 2010; the renowned French wine critic Michel Bettane; and the endocrinologist Dr. Francisco Tinahones, a researcher at the University of Malaga.

In a football pitch on June 20th, social media stars Iza and Elle from Sweden set a new world record on having the largest number of girls dancing in one Musical.ly video with a little help from their friends. Co-hosting the event was IFK Stocksund, the local football club where Iza and Elle are playing. To achieve this, they had gathered their friends from the football team as well as fans from their social media platforms.
