Germany is witnessing a constant rise in the number of private schools – there are roughly 3000 at present. The reason: Many parents have lost faith in state-run education, not least after the damning verdict and the abysmal ratings of the so-called 2006 PISA report. They prefer to send their children to privately funded schools. The percentage of private students has reached eight percent nationwide and has doubled since the mid-1990s, regardless of monthly tuition fees of an average 150 Euros per child. Private schools may follow a variety of different educational approaches. Nevertheless they are united in their ultimate objective of providing a better and individually-tailored education to their pupils. Hamburg’s Bugenhagen College is one of the schools that are going down this route. It is particularly worth mentioning that the college does not differentiate between non-handicapped and disabled youngsters.

Kalpavasi experience The kalpavãsi experiences are the most unique that a human can undergo in this mortal world. A kapavãsi basically transcends the linear space-time barrier by submitting himself / herself to a day in the Brahmaloka, Which is equivalent to 4.32 billion earth days. We invite you find out how this magic (time-travel) unfolds We are the pioneers of an ongoing research on the Kumbha (Kumbh) Mela and other Indian Traditional Knowledge Systems from the last 10 years and the packages presented through this Kalpavãsi program have been designed with complete assimilation and understanding of both the sensitivities of the participating religious organization and the sensibilities of the modern traveller We present to you the best possible experiences of the Kumbha (Kumbh) Mela in an effort to introduce you to the essence of the Indian Tradition, Heritage, Culture, Spirituality and Religion with the least possible expenditure of time, effort and money. The Kumbha (Kumbh) Mela is not just a Religious/Spiritual event and there is a popular misconception that it is all about naked Indian Sadhus (Ascetics), snake charmers and cheap magicians The Kumbha (Kumbh) Mela is a conglomeration of religion, trade and amusement. The ground is dotted with makeshift shrines, temples, thatched Mantapams, and Ashramas of innumerable sects, saints, the lay folks, etc. In the evenings and early mornings one may hear the sound of Bhajans, Kirtans, the telling of Kathas, chanting of hymns, jingling of bells, and blowing of conchs and observe the scenes of millions of people taking a dip in the holy rivers with offerings of flowers, lamps, Etc. watch the colourful ceremonial processions of various Akhadas and Sampradayas. The most distinctive and attractive feature of the Kumbha Mela is the ceremonial bathing of Nagas Sadhus who are traditionally given priority in the bath for being the initiator of this festival. The joy of being a part of this conglomeration is truly unique and there are no words to explain the experience kalpavasi.com

A study commissioned by dating giant Anastasia International has found that Romance Tours attended by western men in hopes of finding a bride in Russia and CIS are highly effective. Organized Romance Tours take men from behind their computers on excursions through Russia and Ukraine with the object of connecting them with ladies in search of amour and possibly marriage. The Public Relations Department at Anastasia interviewed 1,697 Western clients who had attended at least one of her Romance Tours between 2002 and 2009, and discovered a significant percentage not only found a lasting relationship, but an enduring marriage. Another 41 percent said etiquette plays at least some role in career advancement. Robert Half also has introduced new videos illustrating some of the most egregious examples of office etiquette faux pas as part of the firm’s ongoing video series, “Don’t Let This Happen to You.” The lighthearted videos, including “The Cupcake Caper,” along with advice on avoiding common blunders, can be found at www.roberthalf.com/dont-let-this-happen-to-you. Over the past six months UK small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) have grown on average by six per cent despite the broader UK economy struggling, according to the latest SMB Index from HP. HP’s survey of 1,000 SMBs, with between 1 and 50 employees shows that, compared to that of the previous six months, growth for UK SMBs has slowed slightly but optimism is still strong, with SMBs expecting to grow by up to 13 per cent over the next year. Optimism in the economy is also strong, with 66 per cent of SMBs optimistic about the year ahead. SMBs in Financial Services have grown the most (13 per cent), followed by Manufacturing (10 per cent). SMBs in Retail (4 per cent) and Professional Services (1 per cent) have seen the least growth. Nearly half of UK SMBs (48 per cent) are turning to social media to help grow their business and reach new audiences, with 56 per cent of sole traders recognising its value the most. However, although SMBs are finding social media beneficial for networking purposes (83 per cent), and as a mechanism for advertising (57 per cent), many SMBs are underestimating its true potential for business growth and lead generation. Six of 13 small cars recently evaluated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety earn the TOP SAFETY PICK award, and none earn a poor rating in any of 4 tests. This is a turnaround from a few years ago when small cars struggled to earn top safety ratings. The new tests include hybrids and gasoline-only models that are among the most fuel-efficient vehicles available in the U.S. market. The ratings are based on performance in front, side, rollover, and rear impact evaluations. Cars that earn the top rating of good in each test and have available electronic stability control (ESC) qualify for TOP SAFETY PICK. Winners are the 2012 Ford Focus and Honda Civic, along with the 2011 Hyundai Elantra, Lexus CT 200h hybrid, Nissan Juke, and Toyota Prius hybrid. The Civic, CT 200h, Elantra, Focus, and Prius have at least one version with a government fuel economy rating of at least 40 miles per gallon on the highway. The Dodge Caliber, Honda CR-Z and Insight hybrids, Nissan Sentra and Versa, Scion xD, and Suzuki SX4 also were rated but didn’t earn TOP SAFETY PICK.
