Start your engines! The Los Angeles Auto Show, the first auto show of the season is back! Widely regarded as being the most forward-thinking of all the major shows, the latest in technology and design exhibited here will be finding their way into driveways across the country in the near future. Lincoln is making automotive history with the launch of the new 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid, offering luxury customers a premium hybrid sedan at the same base price as its conventional gas sibling. Subaru is showing an Impreza Concept Car that shows the direction that Subaru thinks all-wheel Drive sedans will be taking in the next few years. This new design theme seems to be working along with the well-known Subaru traits of all-wheel drive safety and reliability, since Subaru just set an all-time sales record for the US - beating last year's all-time record by 25%.

With the July Fourth holiday fast approaching, Brookdale Senior Living and the nonprofit organization Wish of a Lifetime™ are celebrating patriotism by sharing the stories of four high-flying World War II veterans whose Wishes of taking to the skies again were fulfilled by the organizations. Granting these Wishes was a way to honor the service of these American heroes and to demonstrate that there is no age limit for taking new adventures. As the season turns from fall to winter, many holiday displays replace pop-up flu vaccine clinics. Yet flu season is not over — it has barely begun. Bugün, ülkemizde, hadisleri baz alarak Adem'in dinozorlarla aynı dönemde yaşadığını ve 30 m. uzunlukta olduğunu söyleyen biyoloji profesörlerimiz varken, dünyanın düz olduğunu söyleyen uzmanlar hiçbir müslümanı da şaşırtmamalı. ("Kuran'da Dünya'nın düz olarak geçtiğini söyleyenlere itirazınız var da, evrim yalandır diyenlere niye yok?" diye bir soru yönlendirilebilir kendilerine.)
Şüphesiz buna inananlar sadece müslümanlar değil. 1956 yılında Britanya'da, Flat Earth Society (Düz Dünya Cemiyeti) adıyla, Dünya'nın düz olduğunu savunan ve bugün hala aktif olan bir organizasyon bile kuruldu. Bilim karşıtlığı hiçbir zaman popülaritesini yitirmiyor.
