Vitiligo is a long-term skin condition that causes pale, white patches on the skin due to a lack of melanin. Some states even have laws that require your furry friends to be restrained. New Jersey, for example, requires pets to be in a restraint or a carrier in the car. The fine for this violation is anywhere from $250 to $1000. Check with your department of motor vehicles or veterinary office for information on pet restraint in your state.

A symbolic first stone has just been placed for the new Aircelle (Safran) facility in Hamburg, Germany, which will assemble and deliver nacelles on Airbus A320neo jetliners equipped with CFM International LEAP-1A jet engines.
Located at Hamburg Hausbruch, this 8,000-square-meter installation – situated on a 20,000-square-meter site – will handle the final steps in Aircelle’s full industrial responsibility for the A320neo nacelles: integration on the engine, followed by delivery to Airbus’ A320 assembly lines in Hamburg.

SC Johnson released its 2013 annual public sustainability report today. The report shares the latest information on the company’s ongoing work to achieve its 2016 environmental goals by using more renewable energy, cutting greenhouse gas emissions, minimizing landfill waste and developing innovative products that use fewer resources and require less packaging. SC Johnson has reduced its global manufacturing waste by 62 percent and increased its use of renewable energy to 30 percent in pursuit of these goals*.
