For the fourth year, Men’s Wearhouse has held a successful National Suit Drive, the country’s largest collection of gently used professional attire. The company devoted the month of August to encouraging patrons to transform their unwanted businesswear into a second chance for millions of disadvantaged Americans facing joblessness.

The National September 11 Memorial & Museum (9/11 Memorial) today joined the Ad Council to launch a public service advertising (PSA) campaign asking citizens to “honor, remember and reunite” for the 10th anniversary of 9/11 by donating to or visiting the Memorial. The first PSA will air in the weeks leading up to the 10th anniversary of 9/11; the Memorial will be dedicated on that day and opens to the general public the following day, Sept. 12, 2011.
The 9/11 Memorial also today launched a new platform for the Memorial Guide, which displays the entire names arrangement of the Memorial. The Memorial Guide is now available as an app for iPhone through the Apple App Store on the smart phone. The app includes oral history content provided by StoryCorps, a partnership organization of the 9/11 Memorial.

Each week high school football teams across the country are making bold plays – their own Friday night feats. Today, State Farm® Insurance Companies kicks off Friday Night Feats, a national high school football video contest that aims to get schools and communities to a better state. Beginning August 25, the biggest moments of the season as captured by players, parents and fans can win up to $17,500 for their high school.
Eligible fans, coaches, players and community members can submit videos to the State Farm Friday Night Feats contest page, www.FridayNightFeats.com, from Aug. 25 until Nov. 28 to be considered as the best Friday night feat of the 2011 high school football season. CVS/pharmacy and MinuteClinic announced their “You vs. Flu” campaign today. Flu vaccinations are now available at all CVS/pharmacy and MinuteClinic locations nationwide to help consumers win against the flu. CVS/pharmacy has more than 7,200 locations and MinuteClinic has nearly 600 locations inside select CVS/pharmacy stores.
Flu shots are being provided by CVS pharmacists and MinuteClinic nurse practitioners and physician assistants every day, including evenings and weekends, with no appointment necessary. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone ages six months and older get a flu shot as soon as vaccine is available, including those who were vaccinated last flu season.
