The Attention Powered Car, developed by the RAC, is into leg 3 of its road trip around WA visiting towns including Donnybrook, Nannup and Pemberton, heading to Albany and then finishing in the Wheatbelt town of Narrogin. In this episode we put two drivers behind the wheel that drive for a living. We wanted to see if their professional experience influenced their attention levels. How will our Ambo and Australia's best truck driver perform? First up was Mike. As a St John's Ambulance Volunteer, he needs to be calm and confident driving under pressure and at high speed. And it showed. So too with our second driver, Murray, who's TNT Australia's best truck driver. Both came out determined and focused to prove they had the edge. To some degree they did. Incidences of inattention were fewer and further between, but they were still there. Encouragingly, both drivers were much better at refocusing when they did lose attention. The First Graduation Ceremony of Nazarbayev University (NU) took place on June 15, 2015. The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev addressed the Class of 2015. Nazarbayev University, created on the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan in 2010, is fast becoming a leading research university in Kazakhstan and the region. The first cohort of graduating students consists of 446 undergraduate and graduate students. Of the 365 bachelor degree holders, 115 have been accepted to Masters and PhD programs in leading universities of the world, some 90 graduates plan to continue their studies at Nazarbayev University; more than 80 received job offers from leading national and international companies, and another 50 are interviewing with prospective employers. Honey Bunches of Oats is launching a new 360-degree marketing campaign to encourage fans to rethink the classic cereal, which has two varieties – Honey Roasted and Almond – among the top 10 favorite cereals in America. The new “THIS. IS. EVERYTHING.™” campaign celebrates the multiplicity of the product, from the crispy flakes to the crunchy granola oat clusters and the sweet touch of honey, while emphasizing a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats is greater than the sum of its parts. Multiple touchpoints are being utilized to bring the fully integrated campaign to life in order to engage consumers in person, online, offline and on multiple screens. Across all marketing levers, the work interweaves memes from social media and pop culture references to tell the brand story and allow consumers to play with and make the content their own. The campaign kicks off with new commercial spots hitting airwaves in August. Two versions of the commercial were created specifically to engage both General and Hispanic audiences. The English-language spots mash-up iconic images with current pop culture memes to relay the timelessness and multi-sensorial experience of the cereal. The Spanish-language spots maintain the style and tone of these ads, but use images centered on cultural nostalgia and family. The Class of 2017, the first crop of Generation Z (people born between 1993 and 1999) to enter the workforce, is more interested in working for large companies compared to last year’s grads (19 percent vs. 14 percent), according to a new study by Accenture Strategy on the future workforce. New graduates desire an engaging employee experience and want to take full advantage of their degree.
