In celebration of National Reading Month, CITGO Petroleum Corporation, along with its mobile literacy partner, Bess the Book Bus, is kicking off its second annual literacy campaign to share the excitement of reading with thousands of children in more than 100 schools and Children’s Hospitals across the United States. From Feb. 26 to March 9, CITGO representatives, Miss America 2017-2018 State Titleholders and Bess the Book Bus will deliver brand new, free books to schools in 19 states, while special read-alouds for children will focus on the joy and importance of reading every day. Founded in 2002 by Jennifer Frances, whose grandmother Bess O'Keefe fueled a love of reading from a young age, Bess the Book Bus aims to bring that same love of reading to children everywhere. Since inception, and with support from sponsors like CITGO, Bess the Book Bus travels nationwide and has visited 48 states, reaching more than 300,000 children in underserved communities and donating more than 650,000 books. Tourism Australia has launched its latest campaign, which is focused on highlighting the country’s world-class aquatic and coastal experiences, in a bid to lure more international visitors to Australia. The new creative, the latest instalment in Tourism Australia’s global There’s Nothing like Australia campaign, was officially unveiled at an event in New York on Australia Day eve attended by Australia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs the Hon. Julie Bishop. Guests at the event were treated to immersive ‘virtual reality’ displays and aquatic-themed images being projected onto the ice rink at the famous Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park alongside the reveal of a new broadcast ad, featuring a voiceover by Australian actor and new Tourism Australia global ambassador Chris Hemsworth. Epson America, Inc., a leading provider of superior performing printing solutions, today announced its newest additions to the Supertank line of cartridge-free EcoTank® printers, including three new Expression® EcoTank home models and two new WorkForce® EcoTank printers for the small medium business market. Additionally, Epson introduced two new printers to its EcoTank portfolio – Expression Premium – which offer a five-color ink system for improved photo and document print quality. All seven models offer a new industrial design featuring integrated ink tanks with uniquely keyed auto-stop ink bottles for easy filling of each color. The integrated ink tanks are positioned in the front of each EcoTank printer rather than on the side for a simpler user experience and improved design, delivering cartridge-free printing with easy-to-fill, supersized ink tanks. The new auto-stop ink bottles feature a unique spout and inlet design for each color to prevent misfiling, and stops automatically when the tank is full. The EcoTank printers include up to two years of ink in the box1, equivalent to about 30 ink cartridge sets2. “Supertank Printers revolutionized the printing experience when we first introduced the concept two years ago,” said Nils Madden, marketing director, Consumer Marketing, Epson America. “We have taken customer feedback into account and improved the hardware design, and added new features such as the uniquely keyed auto-stop ink bottles and the option for borderless printing to our new EcoTank printers.
