Carowinds, the premier entertainment destination of the Carolinas, is gearing up for the most exciting season ever, with the debut of the world’s tallest and fastest giga coaster, Fury 325 on Saturday, March 28.
Fury 325 will simulate the wild, daring and spontaneous flight of the hornet. Riders will board one of three 32–passenger open air trains and begin their ascent to the top of a 325–foot tall hill (over 30 stories) followed by an initial 81–degree first drop. The train then races through a series of hills, curves and quick transitions while reaching speeds of up to 95 miles per hour along 6,602 feet of track.

ATA Karate For Kids is a specialized program created exclusively for children. The Karate for Kids program includes two age groups. Pre-school karate for kids classes are for children ages 3-6 and the karate for kids classes for children ages 7 through 12. The latest small overlap front crash test results from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) reveal a range of performance among many of the best-selling small cars in the U.S. market. Of the 12 models evaluated, half earn a good or acceptable rating and qualify for the IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ award.
The 2-door and 4-door models of the Honda Civic are the only small cars to earn the top rating of good in the test. IIHS evaluated the Civics earlier this year and released the results in March. The Dodge Dart, Ford Focus, Hyundai Elantra and 2014 model Scion tC earn acceptable ratings.

Did you know that your company can receive up to 50% government funding when installing an industrial heat recovery system?
The program is called IHRS – or Industrial Heat Recovery Scheme – and within the program, a total of £18 million are available for funding.
Of the £18 million, £6 million are earmarked for concept and design and £12 million are earmarked for installation, commissioning and monitoring.
A heat recovery project can receive funding at any stage – even at the consultant and analysis stage – all the way through to the final turn-key delivery.
Funding applications are graded on a 0-to-10 scale. The higher the score, the greater the funding potential.
In order to be eligible for funding, the heat recovery system must be installed on an existing installation.
The project as a whole is graded based on energy benefit, kilowatt savings as well as environmental, economic and social impact and must achieve a minimum score of 5.
It is a requirement that the recovered energy is used within the confines of the business.
