On July 17, 1902, Carrier, a young research engineer just a year out of Cornell University, finalized the design to stabilize the humidity in the air so the dimensions of the paper at the Sackett & Wilhelms Lithography and Printing Company in Brooklyn, N.Y., would remain constant throughout the printing process. Since then this innovation has been applied to everything from malls to manufacturing facilities, buses to businesses and houses to hospitals – all looking to establish a comfortable environment.

What I have here is another soundtrack style video. I've been contemplating for some time to feature some of my pencil drawings that I had done between 2000 - 2005 after all my musical gear got ripped off. Drawing is a lot cheaper and it gave me a chance to explore new dimensions in what would otherwise be mere sketching. I wanted to see how far I could take pencil work to a finalized portrait styled product in place of paints or pastels. I'm using Photo Story 3 for my video in place of Windows Movie Maker just to get a feel for something new. One thing that I have learned about drawing though is that I have a lot more fun making music.

It’s time to Rock the Red Kettle this holiday season with the fourth annual free concert hosted by The Salvation Army and produced by Ned Specktor of Specktor Media. Music veteran Kelly Rowland will kick off the concert at Universal CityWalk’s “5 Towers” concert venue in Los Angeles by celebrating the work of The Salvation Army before turning over the mic to hot new artists Bean, Coco Jones and headliner Austin Mahone. In the wake of recent tragedy, the Newtown community came together to show the nation the true meaning of “Newtown strong.” It was inspiring to see such overwhelming support for a small, quiet town in the face of such extreme adversity.
The Strides for Sandy Hook 5k memorial run/walk was created as a way for local residents to continue the healing process. The 5k took place on Saturday, January 19, 2013. The unofficial community run honored the lives of victims lost in the December 14, 2012 tragedy. While there was a suggested donation of $25 for participants, any amount was accepted—no matter how big or small. Strides for Sandy Hook attracted nearly 200 walkers and runners and raised over $3,600 on January 19 alone. All donations and proceeds were given towards a memorial fund established by Newtown Parks and Recreation, the Newtown Park Gift Fund.
