I've had the idea for this song since the day of the terrorist attacks in Paris but I couldn't find the time to actually work on it until recently as I've limited my amount of video watching here temporarily on Youtube. It was the only way for me to get this done. I wanted to have this song and video uploaded well before Christmas and so I had to rush this composition more so than with any other previous song I've ever written. I haven't even tested it out in my friend's car to hear it through his stereo as my main concern is always in the vocal quality here. The instrumental sections were very complex and I was making up those parts as I was going and they all seem to be fine as far as composition goes. I wish to especially thank Bethany Ann Meyer who gave me that little extra incentive that I needed to get this song finished. She's a gifted singer and a real sweetheart. You can check out her channel "Melody Meyer" at this link https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCM3Dtw0qXSE6cWavTq2UyTA/videos LYRICS: Live in peace. Share the Land. All good brothers, take my hand. Come good shepherd, heed my call. Peace on Earth, Goodwill to all. Star above. Star so bright. Guard us safely through the night. Father's love. Brother's hand, guiding peace throughout this land.

International research led by University College London (UCL) as part of the ‘Cities Changing Diabetes’ partnership programme challenges current scientific understanding of the rapid rise of diabetes in cities. The findings suggest that in cities around the world, social and cultural factors play a far more important role in the spread of the epidemic than previously thought. More than two thirds of the world’s 400 million people with diabetes live in urban areas.1,2 The year-long study for Cities Changing Diabetes, a unique public-private-academic partnership, sought to better understand what makes people vulnerable to type 2 diabetes in cities in order to inform solutions for one of the most pressing modern-day public health challenges. To explore this complex issue, more than 550 interviews were undertaken with at-risk and diagnosed people in five major cities – Copenhagen, Houston, Mexico City, Shanghai and Tianjin. “By largely focusing on biomedical risk factors for diabetes, traditional research has not adequately accounted for the impact of social and cultural drivers of disease,” says David Napier, Professor of Medical Anthropology, UCL. “Our pioneering research will enable cities worldwide to help populations adapt to lifestyles that make them less vulnerable to diabetes.” To view the multimedia release go to: http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7690951-study-rethink-rise-diabetes-in-cities/

The Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities is pleased to announce the launch of an egyptian – international Project using non-invasive and non-destructive surveying techniques for the scanning of Egyptian Pyramids under the title “ScanPyramids” project. Just because a mystery is 4500 years old doesn’t mean it can’t be solved…” This could be the motto of the exceptional scientific mission launched October 25, 2015, under the authority of the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities, initiated, designed and coordinated by the Faculty of Engineering of Cairo and the French HIP.Institute (Heritage, Innovation and Preservation). Radiographic muons, aka cosmic particles, infrared thermography, photogrammetry, scanner and 3D reconstruction: the most innovative technologies will be used by researchers of international renown and three major universities: the Faculty of Engineering of Cairo University, Université Laval of Quebec and Nagoya University of Japan. Their goal: to probe the heart of the largest pyramids of Egypt, without drilling the slightest opening. Four millennia after their construction, these ancient giants are far from having yielded their secrets. The first mystery concerns their construction, especially Khufu, the last of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still existing: it is still impossible to describe with certainty how this stone monument, the largest ever built by humans, was erected. The “ScanPyramids” project has already been approved by the permanent committee of the Ministry of Antiquities and has obtained all necessary permissions from concerned authorities. With a base of more than 5 hectares, its original height of almost 150 meters and a mass of 5 million tons, how was it possible to construct such a wonder in only 25 years? I've been really anxious to take another stab at making an Electronic song with the little that I have to work with and still make it BUMP like a Bungee Jump. I'm patting myself on the back for this one because so far, I'm the only one who has heard it and I'm my own biggest fan. I said to myself "Steve...... This bump's like a bungee jump." ...... Naturally, I didn't answer myself back so..... Yeah..... Everything's cool..... WOW !!!!! .... This really Bump's ...... That's because I make it Bump ...... With my Bumpermatic .... " BUMP ..... After only 16 weeks of existence, foetuses hear and respond to music as long as it is emitted from their mother’s vagina. Foetuses respond to this stimulus by opening their mouths and pulling their tongues out as far as possible, making vocalisation movements – prior to the acquisition of language. This is the main conclusion of the study conducted by the team of Institut Marquès, which boasts the collaboration of Alberto Prats, Professor of Anatomy and Human Embryology of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona. The study, entitled “Foetal facial expression in response to intravaginal music emission”, is published this week in the journal Ultrasound of the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS). According to Dr. Marisa López-Teijón, the Head of Assisted Reproduction at Institut Marquès and the principal researcher and author of the clinical study: “We have discovered that the formula for foetuses to hear like us is to emit music from the mother’s vagina. They barely hear the sound that reaches them through their mother’s abdomen: the soft tissues of the abdomen and the inside of the mother’s body absorb the soundwaves”. Fazlani Altius Business School (FABS) is an innovative management education model whereby students are pre-placed, before they even begin their MBA. This has been made possible through the unique Industry-Academia partnership model that runs as “of the corporate”, “by the corporate” and “for the corporate” concept. Our Corporate partners engage right from the selection process, curriculum design, faculty for the program, extended internship design etc. This immersion is to ensure that the students are ready to hit the road and are productive from DAY 1 of joining their companies This program is far more engaging even for students as questions like, what if we don’t get selected after MBA, what specialization to choose etc. are addressed even before they step in, thereby weeding whole lot of insecurity about future and careers. FABS ensures, students seamlessly move on from being a student, to an intern and finally a productive employee. The upcoming unveiling of the Environmental Protection Agency's plan to impose new far-reaching regulations on emissions of existing power plants promises to bring unwelcome increases in electricity prices for consumers and businesses, warns the National Mining Association. "This plan is all pain and no gain," said Luke Popovich, vice president of communications for the National Mining Association." That's why state leaders across the country are coming to the same conclusion— that we should not sacrifice our power system to an unworkable plan built on a faulty interpretation of the law." Adlens, the global leader in adjustable focus eyewear, has launched its ground-breaking adjustable prescription eyewear ‘AdlensFocuss™’, the greatest advancement in optics in more than 50 years. Vision inevitably changes with age and people often need different strength glasses to see at near, intermediate and far distances. Progressive lenses are an option but they have a restricted usable lens area. A GFK Roper Study has shown one-third of wearers say they have trouble adjusting to them with seven to eight percent of wearers saying they cannot adjust to them at all. AdlensFocuss provides the benefits of a single vision lens – full frame viewing area – with the best features of a progressive lens – the ability to see at different distances. They are prescription glasses with proprietary technology; a unique flexible membrane that allows the power to be adjusted by simply turning small dials on the inside of the frames. AdlensFocuss lenses offer at least four times more viewing area than traditional progressive lenses and come encased in a fashion-forward frame from award-winning designer Blake Kuwahara. http://www.WhitneyVandell.com Whitney Vandell’s debut record takes its namesake from that same title, one that has been hard-earned by Vandell over years of intense work. The African-native instrumentalist has released one of the more intriguing and eclectic instrumental records thus far this year on the indie scene. What makes the ‘One-Girl Symphony’ so interesting is Vandell’s hand over a vast array of genres. The record style-hops with ridiculous tact, shifting from classical influences to rock and roll and blues in seamless movements. Speaking of which, there actually are movements. Her debut album is broken into four autobiographical sections of three songs each: Teenage Turbulence, The Formative Years, Return to Innocence & Hope, and Empty Promises to Broken Hearts.
