Modern technology is an amazing thing. We’ve been able to land a probe on Mars. We can clone animals. We have self-driving cars. There have been significant technological advancements in the past decade, but many people see workplace technology lagging behind.
Vonage’s new marketing campaign, “It’s About Time,” illustrates how Vonage is bridging this gap by providing modern, adaptive and intuitive communications solutions that enable businesses to communicate faster, better and smarter. To bring the campaign message to life, Vonage (NYSE: VG) executed a technology takeover at an office building in Atlanta.

Today, Feeding America®, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, and French’s® announce a national effort to help children and families who struggle with hunger. For every specially-marked bottle of French’s Mustard sold between April 18 and November 30, and specially-marked bottles of French’s Ketchup sold between April 18 and December 31, one meal* will be donated to the Feeding America nationwide network of 200 food banks.
More than 48 million people in America struggle with food insecurity, including 15 million children – at a life stage when food is critical to healthy growth and development. Food insecurity is defined as a lack of access, at times, to enough food for an active, healthy life, according to the USDA. It is an issue that affects every single county in our country.
“Food insecurity all too often goes unseen, but every day, millions of people in America are faced with insufficient food for themselves or their families,” said Diana Aviv, CEO of Feeding America. “Through this partnership with French’s, our nationwide network of food banks is better able to help fill this gap. This initiative not only helps to bring national attention to the massive problem of hunger in the U.S., but also provides everyone the opportunity to fight hunger in their local communities.”

A “strategy-to-execution gap” plaguing corporations around the globe could lead companies to lose 50 percent of their potential cumulative cash flow on new growth investments if not properly addressed, according to CEB (NYSE: CEB), the leading member-based advisory company. That is because most new growth strategies lose value during the implementation phase, with at least one-in-three strategic initiatives failing altogether.

Despite a dramatic increase in participation over the last decade, a new household survey commissioned by the Afterschool Alliance finds a significant gap between the demand and supply of afterschool programs. The 2014 edition of America After 3PM, which includes responses from 30,000 U.S. families, finds that for every child enrolled in an afterschool program, there are two more who are not and whose parents would enroll their child, if a program were available.
