PrimeSource® has entered into a year-long partnership with Rebuilding Together to provide Grip-Rite® product donations in support of the organization’s disaster recovery efforts for families and communities across the country.
After a disaster has occurred and damages and needs have been assessed, PrimeSource will work to support Rebuilding Together affiliates in affected areas with Grip-Rite tools and building materials, allowing Rebuilding Together to focus their efforts on recovery coordination and skilled volunteer recruitment.

Unfortunately, as Graham is adopted, he doesn\\\'t have an HLA-identical sibling to act as a donor for him. So the Red Cross here in Australia searched the Bone Marrow Registries worldwide for 9 months to find a match.
Graham has a rare tissue type and a match was not found.
Thanks to generous donations of over $400,000, Graham was able to travel from his home in Melbourne, Australia to Seattle in the USA for a revolutionary, life-saving stem cell treatment in April 2008.
On Wed 6th August, he was the 8th person in the world to receive a Stem Cell Transplant using stem cells grown in the lab from an umbilical cord.
The treatment was a complete success and he is now leukaemia free.
He is back in Melbourne, recovering from the treatment but still has outstanding medical bills of $416,000.
In 2011 we started out as a non-profit organization in Shreveport, Louisiana. We’ve since begun dedicating ourselves to helping those in the Memphis, Tennessee, area with job preparation training and utility payment assistance. We operate a youth development program that collects school uniforms, coats and supplies for children who are in need – and that’s only the beginning. We also offer Bible study for those who desire to be nourished by the everlasting Word.

With the help of President George H.W. Bush, Bass Pro Shops and representatives of the States of Texas and Florida, RBFF and the George H.W. Bush Vamos a Pescar™ Education Fund has announced the very first grant donations to organizations bringing conservation, education and fishing and boating experiences to Hispanic families. A total of $50,000 in grants were awarded last week during a ceremony at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station, TX.
The George H.W. Bush Vamos a Pescar™ Education Fund was founded by RBFF in 2014, with an initial $125,000 donation by Bass Pro Shops Founder and CEO Johnny Morris, in honor of President George H.W. Bush’s milestone 90th birthday. The mission of the Education Fund is to bring hands-on fishing and boating experiences, along with conservation activities, to Hispanic families across the United States. This event announces the first grants made in furtherance of this mission.

CVS Caremark and Children’s Hospital Boston will celebrate a mutually significant milestone at Fenway Park this evening. Just prior to the Boston Red Sox/Baltimore Orioles game, the two will recognize hitting the $1 million mark in funds donated to the Hospital by CVS Caremark for children with disabilities. The relationship that brought them to this point spans more than five years and focuses on a shared commitment to helping children with disabilities. Monies donated derive from the CVS Caremark Charitable Trust and the CVS Caremark All Kids Can Program and support the Hospital’s Cerebral Palsy Program and its Center for Communication Enhancement.

Suits and Sneakers weekend is an annual event coordinated by the Coaches vs. Cancer program, a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The United Nations Foundation’s Shot@Life campaign marks World Pneumonia Day, November 12, by asking Americans to raise awareness, funds and advocate to members of Congress to support global immunization programs. Pneumonia kills nearly a million children under the age of five each year and almost half of those deaths are vaccine-preventable.
“Around the world one in five children lack access to the vaccines they need,” said Devi Thomas, Director, UN Foundation’s Shot@Life campaign. “By raising awareness, funding and asking members of Congress to support global immunization programs we can ensure that every child, no matter where they live, is given a shot at a healthy life.”
