Penny has returned. She is now back from her holiday vacation in London. It’s really good to have Penny back at the studio. Today’s episode, Professor HANS and Penny talk about the difference between the men in London and the men in the US and their attitude towards women in night clubs and bars. Men in US possess strong self-confidence and they are really cocky. They are so upfront. They run in places and just come up to you especially in night clubs and bars.
On the contrary, the British men are quite reserved. They rarely come up to girls and when they do it’s kind of lame and hesitant. But, in fairness, there are a lot of good British gentlemen out there.
Twenty-two vehicles earn the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's highest safety award for 2014, TOP SAFETY PICK+, thanks to a high level of protection in crashes and the availability of front crash prevention technology to avoid many collisions in the first place. An additional 17 earn TOP SAFETY PICK by meeting the crashworthiness criteria alone.
IIHS is using new criteria for the awards this year. TOP SAFETY PICK requires good performance in the Institute's moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraint tests and, for the first time, good or acceptable performance in the small overlap front test introduced in 2012. The same level of performance in those tests, along with at least a basic rating for front crash prevention, is required for the higher accolade, TOP SAFETY PICK+.
The topic of friends is in many times overlooked or underrated whether the talk is about having good friends or staying away from the bad ones. The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) is warning consumers to be careful when buying a used vehicle, especially one that’s priced “too good to be true.”
The accompanying video describes one such incident. An innocent woman in Lancaster, Wisc. bought a used GMC Denali for $30,000 and for the last two years she has been enjoying its use. Meanwhile, Carfax notified NICB that the Denali might be a “clone” since Carfax had information that an identical Denali was currently registered in Peabody, Mass.

The Denim Studio, which officially opens today, Thursday June 6, in Selfridges on Oxford Street, is the first and the largest space of its kind in the world at over 26,000sqft. Bigger than two Olympic swimming pools, or over half the size of a football pitch, the space has been conceived to address the specific needs of women looking for the perfect denim fit.
