Last week, Jennifer Lawrence and other celebrities had indiscrete photos stolen and distributed across the Internet. It’s speculated that their accounts were accessed by a “brute force” attack—which can only be successful if their passwords were weak.
Weak passwords are a risk for businesses, too. Verizon found that 76% of all network intrusions exploit weak or stolen passwords.
To protect critical data, every employee at every business must use strong passwords (which have no fewer than 12 characters). But with an average of 14.3 apps per business, users are likely to take shortcuts by creating passwords that are easy to memorize – and easy to crack.

Today, Goody’s® Powder partnered with Dale Earnhardt Jr. to surprise a local Charlotte fan with some “Fast Relief.” Kim Homme, a retired 25-year captain of the Charlotte Fire Department and longtime Dale Jr. fan, was treated to a special Goody’s® Fast pit stop experience along with a new set of Goodyear tires for her vehicle.
“Kim has done so much for her community and it’s great to return the favor by providing her with some Goody’s® Fast Relief,” said Earnhardt Jr. “This year’s Appreci88ion Tour has focused on giving back to the fans and thanks to Goody’s®, we were able to take it a step further today.”
Homme had no idea that Dale and the Goody’s® crew were stationed inside the Fire Department. Members of the Charlotte Douglas Airport Fire Station, where she currently works for the Air National Guard as an airport firefighter, were on hand to help celebrate the moment and watch the crew perform the Goody’s® Fast pit stop.

This season, the House of Givenchy, under the initiative of Artistic Director Riccardo Tisci, is bringing an exceptional collection to New York, as the city represents the capital of the American dream for the designer and for the founder Hubert de Givenchy, who were both supported from the very beginning by the American market.
On September 11th 2015, New York hosted a performance show dedicated to love and sharing. With a décor of recycled materials installed on the banks of the Hudson in Tribeca, there was an unprecedented audience in attendance: professionals from the fashion world rubbed shoulders with celebrities, fashion-school students, winners of a competition organized in partnership with the city, and local residents from the neighbourhood.
The website givenchy.com and giant screens installed across the city, from Soho to Times Square, also broadcast the show live, while advertising buses made their way across the Bronx, Harlem, and Queens inviting a wide a number as possible to follow the event.
With Marina Abramović, a friend of the House and co-author of numerous artistic projects, Riccardo Tisci created a performance which reached beyond the scope of fashion. Designed to be an emotional experience focusing on universal themes (love, peace, freedom, humility, spirituality), it notably put the spotlight on four artists who performed spiritual and cultural chants from across the world. True to form, Marina Abramović also invited seven artists to host live performances on the show's location.

This book was written primarily for those young people, both boys and girls and their parents and/or mentors who, for whatever reason, believe they have no chance at a successful life. This book is the story about a young boy who believed he was in that category while growing up. That little boy changed those odds and ultimately did many things that most people cannot even dream of. Dick was expected to work twelve- to fourteen-hour days every day until he left home to join the air force when he was seventeen years old. By the grace of God, Dick somehow graduated from high school since he never once, in twelve years, ever had any time to do homework. Dick’s very best childhood friend was his Dog King who is on the cover of this Book. Without King, Dick’s childhood would have been very, very difficult, for they were always together. Life was about to change dramatically when Dick joined the air force when he was seventeen years old. The title of the book, “Destiny,” is very appropriate since it was at that time when destiny played a major role in Dick’s life. Dick should have never passed his induction physical due to an unknown severe bundle branch blockage in his heart, but he did; he should have never been accepted in the Air Force’s air weather school, but he was, graduating forty-third out of a class total of 187. Researchers at global public health organization NSF International, Harvard Medical School, the United States Department of Defense and the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment in the Netherlands (RIVM) recently identified four unapproved, DMAA-like stimulants in six over-the-counter weight-loss and pre-workout products currently available online. The research was published in the peer-reviewed journal Clinical Toxicology.
The potentially harmful compounds – including banned stimulants 1,3-DMAA and 1,3-DMBA as well as octodrine and a newly identified DMAA analog – were not listed as ingredients in the products and may have been disguised as “2-aminoisoheptane” or extract of Aconitum kusnezoffii. These stimulants may cause adverse cardiac events, hemorrhagic strokes or sudden death, especially if taken prior to strenuous exercise or combined with caffeine. Extreme heat and dehydration may also increase the health risks.

Results from a large retrospective data analysis published in the American Journal of Transplantation (AJT) today, showed that liver transplantation patients who were treated early with Advagraf experienced a significantly increased graft survival benefit of 8% at 3 years post-transplant compared with patients treated with the current standard of care, tacrolimus immediate release (twice daily).

Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi was a beacon of celebration this New Year’s Eve after playing host to a spectacular firework display, which lit up the sky of the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) capital at midnight.
More than 8,000 visitors descended on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi’s business and lifestyle destination, to see in 2016. They enjoyed an unforgettable night of family fun and entertainment, which saw live performances from DJs and musical acts, Zeina Aftimos and Hamami Trio. Thousands of fireworks were launched from buildings in Abu Dhabi Global Market Square, the commercial heart of Abu Dhabi's international financial center, and barges in the Arabian Gulf.
Visitors were virtually connected to festivities from around the world, with live footage being displayed on a variety of screens, and an interactive earth globe that lit up when a new country welcomed in the New Year in its time zone. An assortment of festive food trucks, shopping and casual dining at The Galleria, five star feasts at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, a Winter Fair and a dedicated Kid’s zone, were also enjoyed throughout the night.

Honey Bunches of Oats is launching a new 360-degree marketing campaign to encourage fans to rethink the classic cereal, which has two varieties – Honey Roasted and Almond – among the top 10 favorite cereals in America. The new “THIS. IS. EVERYTHING.™” campaign celebrates the multiplicity of the product, from the crispy flakes to the crunchy granola oat clusters and the sweet touch of honey, while emphasizing a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats is greater than the sum of its parts. Multiple touchpoints are being utilized to bring the fully integrated campaign to life in order to engage consumers in person, online, offline and on multiple screens. Across all marketing levers, the work interweaves memes from social media and pop culture references to tell the brand story and allow consumers to play with and make the content their own.
The campaign kicks off with new commercial spots hitting airwaves in August. Two versions of the commercial were created specifically to engage both General and Hispanic audiences. The National Limousine Association’s Ride Responsibly™ initiative (www.rideresponsibly.org) is back with its third public service announcement starring actress and activist Pamela Anderson. In partnership with Promoting Awareness, Victim Empowerment (PAVE), the PSA highlights the often horrifying lack of accountability maintained by ride-hail services and urges passengers to make themselves aware of the safety standards for these apps and their drivers.
“Terms & Conditions” is a follow-up to Ride Responsibly’s second PSA, “The Signs,” which was released in January and called attention to the vast number of sexual assaults reported against drivers. This time, the video shows Pamela Anderson as a passenger of a ride-hail vehicle. Her driver quickly and abruptly reads her a list of terms that she is agreeing to by using the service. Much of the language shocks and disturbs Pam as she is informed that these apps are not responsible or liable for a passenger’s well-being. The terms used for this PSA were taken, in reality, directly from a popular ride-hailing app.

Super hero fans around the country had a chance to put their own Spidey senses to the test by creating original DIY suits inspired by Sony Pictures’ new movie, “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” in theaters today, Friday, July 7 in the U.S. After narrowing the entries down to 10 semi-finalists and then five finalists, one especially crafty entrant won a trip to the world premiere screening of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” on Wednesday, June 28, 2017.
Tiffany Mink (@tiffmink) turned a red dress found at her local Goodwill store into a full-fledged, head-to-toe super hero outfit. Her video showing how she created the suit, along with the submissions from the other finalists, can be viewed at spidermandiy.com. Entrants were encouraged to put their super hero love to work alongside their senses of style, and to act as community heroes by sourcing materials for their suits from Goodwill, where the sale of donated goods creates job preparation, skills training, education assistance and support services for people who face challenges to finding employment. Tiff’s purchases equates to 40 minutes of job search training for a Goodwill participant.
