After fifteen years representing Sweden in the national football team, team captain Zlatan Ibrahimović thanked his large fan base and revealed that this was his last match in the yellow jersey. Volvo Cars’ new film captures this moment and Zlatan’s journey back to Sweden.
In the film, Zlatan and his family take an emotional road trip in the new Volvo V90, retracing the highs and lows of his career and ending back where it began in the tough Malmö neighbourhood of Rosengård.
“Making this film was of course emotional, but the time has come for me to hang up my shirt and hand over to the next generation. For me it is all about looking forward, not back. A new journey is starting – both for me and for Volvo.” said Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Ball Aerospace successfully delivered the Joint Polar Satellite System-1 (JPSS-1), NOAA’s next-generation polar orbiting weather satellite, to Vandenberg Air Force Base in California on Aug. 31, where it is scheduled to launch Nov. 10, 2017. This follows a successful pre-ship review with NASA at Ball’s Boulder, Colorado, manufacturing complex.
“The arrival of the spacecraft at Vandenberg is a tremendous milestone for the program and the culmination of excellent collaboration and hard work by the JPSS-1 team – NOAA, NASA, Ball, Harris, Raytheon and Northrop Grumman,” said Rob Strain, president, Ball Aerospace. “This advanced weather satellite will play a significant role in providing actionable environmental intelligence to decision makers in government and business, and to the general public.”

Leading Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) operator Thuraya Telecommunications today unveiled a new generation of SatSleeve models, offering greater choice, improved quality and a new hotspot option.
When SatSleeve was launched in 2013 it pioneered the “bring your own device” (BYOD) concept in the satellite industry. Now Thuraya goes further with two new models, and has identified a clear consumer target market for the range, running alongside core government, media, energy, and NGO sectors.
SatSleeve+ and SatSleeve Hotspot will appeal to travellers, adventurers and outdoor sportspeople, or simply to consumers who want the assurance that their smartphone will connect even when terrestrial networks are unavailable or damaged.
Thuraya will market SatSleeve+ and SatSleeve Hotspot through existing distribution partners; innovative agreements it has developed with mobile network operators (MNOs) in key markets; and new channels generated through online retailer Expansys.

Straff und muskulös, athletisch und sprungbereit: So feiert der neue Audi TT auf dem Genfer Automobilsalon Weltpremiere. Bei der dritten Generation des kompakten Sportwagens haben die Designer viele Ideen der ersten-TT-Generation von 1998 neu interpretiert - auf dynamische und facettenreiche Weise. An der Front des neuen dominieren die Horizontalen. Der Singleframe-Grill ist breit und flach gezeichnet. Zwei Konturen ziehen sich V-förmig über die Motorhaube. Neu ist auch die Position der Vier Ringe, diese befinden sich jetzt mittig auf der Motorhaube und zeigen die Verwandtschaft zum R8. Stege gliedern die großen Lufteinlässe. Die Scheinwerfer wiederholen dieses Motiv - sie sind mit Trennstegen strukturiert, die das Tagfahrlicht abstrahlen. Optional liefert Audi die Scheinwerfer in LED-Technik oder in der wegweisenden Matrix LED-Technologie, bei der regelbare Einzel-Leuchtdioden das Fernlicht generieren.
