Based on the groundbreaking HBO® series, GAME OF THRONES: The Touring Exhibition will give fans the experience of a lifetime with an up-close and personal look into the world of Westeros and Essos. In collaboration with HBO Global Licensing, global events provider GES designed and built the show’s largest public display to date. The exhibition beautifully showcases the sumptuous costumes, authentic props, and majestic settings from all seven seasons of the worldwide hit series GAME OF THRONES in an interactive, immersive experience which leads visitors through several dynamically themed exhibition areas. Sold Out and Encore are partnering with GES to present the exhibition in Barcelona.
GAME OF THRONES actors Tom Wlaschiha, who played Faceless Man Jaqen H'ghar, and Ian Beattie, who played Kingsguard Knight Meryn Trant, were on hand to celebrate the grand opening.

Volvo Cars, the premium carmaker, will bring a new standard of safety and user experience to the small SUV premium segment with the launch of the new Volvo XC40 this autumn.

Havana will host the XVIII edition of the Habanos Festival, from February 29 to March 4, and present the most important launches for 2016. This year, Cohiba, the most exclusive Habanos brand, will play a special role because of its 50 Anniversary. The Hoyo de Monterrey brand will also have a significant presence with the presentation of Reserva Cosecha 2012. The Cuaba brand, celebrating its 20th Anniversary, will be launching an exclusive special edition for La Casa del Habano and the H. Upmann brand will introduce a significant addition to its regular line.
For five days, the guests attending the XVIII Habanos Festival will enjoy a full agenda focused on the world’s best tobacco. The Festival will begin with the Trade Fair, on February 29, that will attract over 1.500 attendants from more than 50 countries. Richard Dawkins bilim alanında tanıdık bir isim. Çok satan bir dizi kitabı, Gen Bencildir, Kör Saatçi ve Olasılıksızlık Dağına Tırmanmak (Kuzey Yayınları tarafından Türkçe'ye çevriliyor) ile evrim hakkındaki bakışımızı değiştirdi. Bu yıl (1995) Bilimin Halkça Anlaşılması kürsüsünün ilk Oxford'lı profesörü oldu. Şimdi de bilime bakışımızı değiştirmek istiyor.
Bu çok ağır bir top. Gerçek bir gülleden daha ağır çünkü dayanıklı kurşundan yapıldı. İnsan kafasından on kat daha ağır. Şimdi sizden istediğim bu noktaya doğru gitmeniz, topu burnunuza doğru tutmanız. Topu bırakın ve aynı noktada durun. Asıl sorun bilimin doğal hayatımızın bir parçası olmamasıdır. Hepimiz bu deneyde bir tehlike olmadığını bilmeliyiz. Bilimin bize böyle söylediğini bilmeliyiz. Ancak belli ki hepimiz böyle yapmıyoruz. Benim bu programdaki amacım ise bilimin hayatımızda neden önemli bir yer tutması gerektiğini göstermek.
Bilime sırtımızı döndüğümüz ve bilim karşıtlığını kucakladığımız an, yüzyüze kalacağımız tehlikeleri göstermeyi umuyorum. Ve bilimin ne yapabileceğini anlamadan alacağımız riskleri...
Başlamak için en uygun yer her şeyin başlangıcına gitmek olacak. Evrenin kökeni hakkında bilmediğimiz çok şey var ve araştırmaya devam etmeliyiz. Fakat evrimsel yaşamın büyük resmi hiç şüpheye yer bırakmayacak şekilde ortaya çıkmıştır.
Dünya yaklaşık 4.5 milyar yaşında. Ve kısa bir süre sonra, ilk bir milyar yılda ilk canlı hücreler ortaya çıktı ve bunun ardından hepimiz türedik, tüm bitkiler, tüm hayvanlar, tüm insanlar...
Bu kanıtlanmış bir olgudur. Tüm canlılar hepimiz kuzeniz. Bilim insanları bunu, dünyanın düz değil, yuvarlak olması veya Dünya'nın diğer şekilde değil de Güneş'in etrafında dönmesi gibi kabul ederler. Buna inanmamak gülünç olur.
