A ten-month clinical trial at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia has determined that hard surfaces and linens infused with copper oxide compounds contributed to an 83% reduction in C-difficile and a 78% overall reduction in a host of multi-drug resistant organisms (MDROs) including C-diff, MRSA and VRE in a real-world clinical environment. These results occurred in a hospital with a robust protocol for managing infection risk certified by the health care accrediting body DNV-GL Healthcare.
The results of the trial were published in the peer-reviewed American Journal of Infection Control on Sept. 28, 2016 and will be presented at the annual conference of the Infectious Disease Society of America in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 27, 2016.

New York based Aways Away definitely has a unique sound that is best described as punk/indie rock. We caught up with them at their show at Webster Hall in NYC and got the scoop.
Lead singer, Evan De Augustinis feels he was meant for the industry, “I’ve been playing music my whole life, I grew up with music, my father played in bands his whole life…music is in my blood,” he says.
So where does the inspiration come from?
“These are crazy times that we’re living in, so it’s not hard to make it into a song.”

Despite a major song composing setback due to computer failure "My keyboard broke down" I was still able to complete this song and video by using old school computer tactics. First I pleaded with my computer. Then I bribed it. Then I learned how to communicate with it by sign language. When flipping it the finger was no longer effective, I then brought out the hammer and smashed my keyboard in front of it and then said "You're up next Mr. Intel and if you don't smarten up, I'll smash you Inside Out el."
